Hi guys

I just want to see if any of you guys experience what I experience, and your advice.

This happens to me once in a while: I would be dreaming,and in it, I would be singing a song. But it is just not any song. It would contain the most amazing lyrics ever and I know that I wrote them down( as there is no song with those lyrics). So, whem I am singing, in my dreams, I make a mental note to write the lyrics out when I wake up. BUT, when I do wake up, I would remember the dream, but NOT the lyrics. I get bummed out. I believe that those lyrics should be written.
So, my question is: How do I get those lyrics, from my dreams, back into reality, so I could write every word out? Is it even possible?
This happened to me last night, so that is why I am asking.

Yang! Yes - I've experienced this too. I have to keep this brief since I'm writing from work with people looking over my shoulder (temping at the mo).

I often either drift off to sleep or wake up to the most beautiful music - varies between soft gentle music - to rock style music. I don't always hear lyrics, but seperate to the music I often hear amazing statements / phrases / like words of wisdom almost - and when I'm in this dream state it makes perfect sense - but when I wake it fades fast, which is sad.

However the music - the beats I hear stay with me until something else happens, like someone speaking to me suddenly, or thoughts of getting ready for work etc.

At times like this I wish I wrote music to record these melodies somehow

I've had that happen to me too. Or just heavenly music without words. I'm not sure we are meant to remember in most instances. (We all heard about scientific/literary revelations made during sleep) Or maybe we carry it in our subconsience and it might come up when the time is right.
