Linda mentioned in Star Signs that Therese Neuman of a German Convent lived only on air, water and one occasional biscuit for her whole life. I am sure many people were skeptical of this but I have a witness. Swami Paramahamsa Yogananda who founded Self Realization Fellowship visited and met Therese along with his entourage.
Source: Autobiography of a Yogi by Swami Yogananda.

When two different people who have never met and who are known for internal consistency in their writings reveal the same startling incident, the probability of the startling incident being true is very high.

Can't help myself.....but, how long did she live???
I don't deny her feat is possible, but find it hard to fathom why you might want to.....
I agree with your statement that wildly different people averring the same instance or concept lends a lot of credibility to the instance or concept.
I bought some purple plates because Linda wrote about them in Star Signs. Her writing that prana or life energy being measured in angstroms, and that the purple plates would raise your vibrational frequency, was so similar to what my favorite Tibetan lama, T. Lobsang Rampa, wrote, that I immediately ordered the objects.....

Zala! I love T.Lobsang Rampa! You know what's weird? Just two days ago I re-bought his book You Forever. I had been meaning to buy it again for years now, after letting a friend borrow it and never seeing it again. I didnt even get to finish it, so I'm looking forward to reading it. Last night, I opened up to a page where he speaks of drugs and alcohol and I thought, 'that reminds me of what Linda says.'

Iquhunk! Autobiography of a Yogi is one of my favorite books.

Need to get myself a purple plate.......

She crossed 60!

Imagine if we have that skill, no more food bills

Did you feel any difference with purple plates? I am a fan of violet color as it has even higher vibrations and use violet cloth to wrap over my head before sleeping whenever I feel disconnected to the Divine.

26Taurus, hearty salutes to you!
You are the first human being I know who has read and appreciated Yogananda's classic.
The best part of that book for me was the Guru Yukteshwaras return to confirm "HiranyaLoka", the Astral planet where many humans will progress to. I was hoping to find a link of that with Billy Meier's Plaedian contacts but somewhere due to worldly routines lost that urge to search.

And check out the synchronicities, you bought the Lama's book just 2 days back, and this is mentioned by another member today. I just love this kind of cosmic working

I had never heard of this Lama before, will google his works next week.

Cheers all!

Cheers Iqhunk!

Yes, I love that book! Fascinating. I read it very quickly and should probably read it again soon. I started a thread on it in The Pligrims Progress forum awhile back, and there is a link to the book online.

Indeed. Synchronicities abound lately! It's getting quite funny to me now.
Speaking of Pleiadians, I also bought a book called The Convoluted Universe by Dolores Cannon the other day. I cannot put it down!! It goes into aliens and UFO's, Atlantis, the Pyramids, parellel universes and much more.....I bet you would like it!

Take care.

26T, lqhunk ~

I will have to look into both the books you mention, but there's such an enormous list of reading material I want to sample.....I don't know how I'll get to all of it

T, I have a list here of Rampa's books (in no particular order) -- most of them are out of print, and some cost $50-$100 at the used booksellers.....

Several years ago I made a concerted effort to collect all I could find. You-Forever is my favorite of the ones I've read (haven't read them all yet). Cave of the Ancients is fascinating, although that expedition is mentioned in several of his other books. I read The Rampa Story first, altho I think Doctor from Lhasa was the first book written. Living With the Lama is the autobiography of one of his Siamese Cats, and told her story of how she met "the Guv". It is truly intriguing to consider what Rampa says he did, ie, exchange bodies with an Englishman. Here is a tickler.....

quote:
"My brother, we must bring to the knowledge of many the truth that one ego can depart his body voluntarily and permit another ego to take over and reanimate the vacated body. This is your task, to impart this knowledge."
Another task that he was told he incarnated to accomplish was to invent/bring to the knowledge of many a machine that could read auras, whereby doctors could simply utilize the machine to discover active or incipient illness or disease.....

Another intriguing story he related is that of the lamas trek to a cave high in the Himalayas, where artifacts existed from an ancient civilization of humanoids. They were far in advance of human life now, and the lamas sealed the cave after their meditations there (evidently they were able to "read" holograms that were left and discern the tenor of this ancient group). Our world is not ready to find (and abuse) such wonders.

Anyway, the list:
Doctor from Lhasa
The Rampa Story
The Third Eye
The Saffron Robe
Three Lives
The Cave of the Ancients
I Believe
As It Was
Twilight
Candlelight
You-Forever
The Thirteenth Candle
The Hermit
Feeding the Flame
Living With the Lama
Beyond the Tenth
Chapters of Life
Tibetan Sage

All in all, a fascinating man to study!!
{{love & hugs}}

Edit PS: Here's the purple plates link http://www.purpleplates.com/
I keep my water-filter-pitcher on it. I set food on it for 5-10 minutes. I bought the large plate, small plate, and some of the purple discs. When I don't feel well, I carry a disc in my pocket and I do believe it helps me to feel better. I have placed the small plate on areas of my body where I have pain (I have occasional back/spinal issues), and it DOES help to relieve the pain. I have put pictures on the plate for myself and others as Linda wrote, to help raise vibrational frequencies and (hopefully) bring about healing.

Oooooo ooo oo. Thanks for the tickler. That is right up my alley and sounds similar to something I'm reading now.

And thanks for the list of his books. I will no doubt be picking some of those up.

You are right, our world is not at all ready for some of the powers/knowledge (that are latent within us all) to be known yet. There will come a time though.......and it's up to us if we will use them for good this time or fall once again.

Hi Zala,
Its not feasible to read each and every thing. Its better if salient features of what we have read that others have not are listed for mutual benefit. [Though 26Taurus' rec "COnvoluted Universe" does have to be read by me ]

What I will do is summarize the important works of Hyperspace Archetypes, Color Therapy, Pleades, Sirius etc and try to get some links where you have more info than spend too much cash on too books.

Is there any thread where I can do this? Pilgrims Progress?
