the taste of weird things, like original chapstick, mylanta, pepto, alkaseltzer, baby asprin.. mostly medicine type stuff.is this a virgo thing? its not because i'm pregnant either. i like the smell of antiseptics too and many things oriented with doctors offices and hospitals...betadine, latex gloves, bandages, the tape they use to keep an IV in place too. cotton balls even have a very specific smell I like. should i have been a nurse? does anyone else like the smell of hospitals. one of my aunt liked the smell of petrol smoke !
we were in a village earlier( i was very small then )she would especially go to the nearby highways for a stroll !  IP: Logged |

My Virgo cousin use to eat chapstick when she was a kid  (she also would rip me off in candy money... but that's a different discussion)

the smell of rubbing alcohol, licorice, wet ink on paper, the newspaper ahhhh i am very sensitive to smell... offensive odors will turn my stomach... i have a hard time with hospitals and or nursing homes....
pleasant smells can lift my spirits and put me in the mood... i love mens cologne... like polo.. gets me every time. and yes, i agree, sugar is a weakness  IP: Logged |

I like the smell of gasoline too. My Taurus mother does also. I have an earth singleton. Virgo Saturn. Edited: lovely: Yeah, she does love sweets. When we were 17, she talked me into buying a pound of white chocolate. It was just for a snack  __________________________________________

I liek the taste of pepto too, but that;s because I like wintergrgeen mint a lot. I also like the taste of chewable orange-flavored aspirin - I think that's a comfort thing. When I was a kid I rarely got shown much affection, so often times the most attention I got was when I was sick. And when I was sick I often got that chewable aspirin. I think I'm the only woman that openly admits she likes the smell of a guy's sweat. I don't mean gym locker or dirty socks, but that sweaty smell right after a workout. And only grown men - not teenage boys. Not only am I not attracted to teenagers (appropriately, methinks), teenage boys just reek, period. LOL. I like the smell of my cats' fur - I can tell the different of each one. Cat fur doesn't smell like dog fur - their fur isn't as oily so the smell isn't as heavy. My youngest smells cat like babypowder.

I seem to have an aversion to gasoline now and its probably because my body is protecting the baby. I can smell the oil in gas if that makes any sense.I have a super fine sense of smell. I can smell what my daughter (and others) have eaten by the smell of her urine/stool. Of course pregnancy has intensified this natural quality. yeah, GN.. duh. I like wintermint too. I don't like spearmint though AT ALL. I also like those buttercream mints. Right now, I can taste those chewable orange aspirin you're talking about. There was a chewing gum one too I remember and they got stale quickly. I liked Luden's cough drops also. I used to buy them and eat them as candy. I was sort of neglected as a kid too. Young parents. Good point to the psychological aspects. Me, having so many planets in the 4th house and saturn cancer rising, early childhood response and association is right up my alley ..4th house Pluto is a tough placement with regard to family karma. PS. Cat fur. Yeah. I can smell fleas on an animal too. Anyone who has a really good sense knows what i'm talking about. It's hard to describe though. They smell a little like wet leather. Growing up I remember those Hartz two-in-one flea collars. They were like a white piece of licorice you had to cut to fit. I liked the smell of those too. edited to add: I like the smell of men's sweat, and can smell the outdoors on people. Like I can smell the outside air on people when they walk in. I rarely like the smell of women LOL & I especially dislike perfume or the wrong cologne on someone. It literally hits my nose like dog shitt would hit someone elses, ya know? It's getting worse the older I get too. Teenage boys smell like bean & cheese burritos and smell like dandruff (oily/dry scalp), LOL. IP: Logged |
