Past: 1980s Mind your Language Jeffersons Streets of SanFrancisco Different Strokes Hardy Boys The Fall Guy Knight Rider (Matchless theme music)1990s and Recent: Friends Frasier Seinfeld [Must get the DVDs!] Apprentice X Files The Best Ever TV Series I have seen: This was a British Production on a cricket series nicknamed 'BodyLine' where the legend Don Bradman is attmepted to be curtailed by bowling aimed at his head and body, in an era without helmets. The actor who played Matrix's "Agent Smith" made his debut in this series only. 2005, I did not watch much TV and since 2006 my staple diet is Loony Tunes Show and Tom n Jerry. Awaiting Droopy and Woody Wood Pecker shows IP: Logged |

Hey Iqhunk! How could I have left out Knight Rider from my list?! Yes, one of the most distinctive themes ever made. Another oldie I left out is 'CHiPs'. It had a distinctive theme, albeit cheesy, but it's cheesiness went right along with the show! I wanted to ask if you're a fan of Tex Avery cartoons...he rules!IP: Logged |

Hi Whalewasp, Tex Avery reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeally rocks! Droopy versus the Wolf series, Droopy vs the Big Bull Dog, unforgettable slapstick stuff. And to think he created Daffy and Porky Pig too. One cartoon had the Wolf as a dog catcher wolf casually whistle a tune even as he gets thumped. That cartoon still gives me laughs, I must have seen it more than 10 times! Another excellent one was where a very hot Cindrella chick sings a seductive cabaret song "Oh Wolfy Oh Wolfy". I used to laugh as a kid but on growing up, understanding the wolf's reaction was like a sort of "enlightenment". About "Knight Rider", it is odd that many people seem to forget it. I know that almost everyone who sees it will like it. But could it be that David Hasselhoof's Baywatch image has erased this great series from the mass consciousness?

Oh man! How could I forget being 3 or 4 years old and watching Wonderwoman?! I think she was my first crush! Another honorable mention is 'The Electric Company', starring a young Morgan Freeman sporting a nice Afro..."We're gonna turn on the power!" Iq, glad you appreciate Jeremy Brett's tremendous acting skills, which any Shakespearean trained actor/actress possesses. Speaking of Tex Avery, that one you mentioned with the cabaret girl singing 'Oh Wolfee', doesn't Wolf's eyes pop out of his head like machine gun bullets when he sees her? LOL! I like the cartoons where Tex makes fun of modern society, with the silly slapstick that brings out guffaws in me. Does cartoon network show any of Tex's stuff?IP: Logged |

My favourite of the new shows I've seen this year, is Kidnapped on NBC. Unfortunately, it was cancelled, but as far as I know they're letting it play out through a thirteen-episode arc (as opposed to twenty-two episodes) on Saturday nights. The Nine is also pretty good, so far. *edit. I also like Friday Night Lights (never saw the movie). IP: Logged |
