Well i accidently, sorta hijacked HD's post to AG..sorry bout that..but i noticed he had a similar writing style to me..he used a lot of dots for spaces as i do..also he wrote like he would speak in conversation..i do that too...i just write what comes into my head no forethought just write...i also dont use many capitals not much punctuation or grammar..i know how to and can do so..i have had people tell my its lazy not to do so but especially in a place where i wanna be comfotrable i just wanna let my thoughts and feelings flow..the use of punctuation and grammar etc would impeed my thought process..im wondering what aspects would cause that..does anyone have same or different dendancies...or know someone that does..i thought it may be my gemini moon added with my aqua rising that encouraged my style of writing..the gemini moon making my mind work at 1000 miles an hour and cant type fast enough to keep up..and my aqua rising and the need for free expression??
what do u guys think??
i know for some people this form of writing would be frustrating even..i also get tempted to shorten some words here like you(u) etc though i do make an effort not to do that

Actually, I like trailing off into oblivion with FIVE dots at the end of my sentences! I think I write (and sometimes talk! ) like a Gem since I have Mercury in III.....

I totally write conversationally as well.. with lots of dots for pauses...
I swear! Look at all my posts, they almost always have disjointed sentances and pauses. *and a lot of descriptive things like this*
Neat!

Interestingly enough, my dad, who is a Scorpio, and I write eerily similar... our penmanship is artistic/messy or flowing and beautiful... similar looping styles and lots of dashes.
I didn't grow up watching him write, so it is unintentional. But interesting to observe.

I also like the pause dots...
But I only use 3 at a time, always.
I love to write free form as well!
I am constantly changing the way I write, as in the way my letters look. Also in the way I use punctuation and capitalization.
My chart is mostly AIR so I like not having restrictions & boundaries
I also like to laugh in my writing HEHEHE

I love the way some of you write like your talking in a conversation...!

I'm still learning HOW to do that! It doesn't come naturally to me, sometimes I look back on my old posts and think I could have written that so much better! I think on BB boards its better to write like you are talking, I think the vibe is there rather than trying to make it into a perfect essay..(they are so hard on the eye)

I completely agree with BR on this one. It's really annoying to try and decipher 'stream of consciousness' types of posts. Although I tend to shorten and mess things up occasionally, I generally stick to proper punctuation and sentence structure. It's probably the English Nazi in me (being an English major); the English faculty at school throws seizures if you miss one dot or comma in MLA citation style, so writing a paper without correct punctuation or grammar is like a cardinal sin.

I used to be a much better writer (on this forum, anyway).

Now I'm usually typing while a toddler's trying to "help" or trying to "kill our cats" or "doing artwork on her door" or...you get the idea...so my thoughts aren't nearly so complete and well-rounded as they once were.

Man, I am the EDIT QUEEN. My thoughts always come out in one giant long sentance, then I hit "post", and read it, and realize how hard it is to follow, or how many conjunctions I missed, or how many spelling errors I made - so I end up editing it to make it easier, and concise. And I do that at least 3 or 4 times. My Aqua moon just pours it out, then my Leo sun & Merc. go "oh, that's not the way to do it" lol..(and I like lol because it's quicker to type, and I'm not hung up on how many .....'s I use. Depends on how long I want the reader to pause)

What I cannot stand, is when people post in internet short hand. I HATE that. I find it's way harder to decifer and I usually just skip those ones. (i hope ur ok cuz u seem 2 cool 4 that A.H. but u can c me next mo. 4 sure) Is it really so hard to type "you" instead of "u"? I give my 15 year old daughter heck for typing this way on MSN. I'm sure it will only lead to permanent bad habits.

P.S. I apologize for the run-on sentances
