also heard it's from dehydration......... and yes, sleep depravation.. *the two usually meet.*
I believe you need more potassium and electolytes.
It happens every so often.. maybe it is a physical indication of mistrust in a situation.. .to give a more psychological answer...

Sexycrazyetc... is correct. Sleep deprivation is most likely the cause. It's either that or you are excercising too hard.

I had that problem during a period of mucho stress.
Perhaps that led to me not getting enough sleep.

Eh.

Jackson Brown, Delerious.

That happens to me too - and usually when not getting enough sleep, or just poor quality of sleep, due to stress & worry - even eye strain may cause it.

I get twitches all over my body sometimes, acutally. My leg, my back, my neck - they don't hurt, they just spaz out. *rapid wiggle wiggle wiggle* and you can put your finger on them and actually feel the nerve or muscle or whatever it is spazzing out under your finger. It's a bit annoying.

Sometimes I think maybe that's an early sign that a person could be destined for a stroke.

No, not you BM. The eye twitch thing is very commom. I meant me, and other people who get them all over their bodies.

It's just a theory I have. But I hope I'm wrong.

Mmmm I don't think it has anything to do with a stroke. Strokes are caused by the same thing that causes a heart attack...clogged arteries/blood vessels. Eye twitch is a muscle spasm, if anything I'd connect it to potential neurological disorders like parkinsons, but I doubt thers a connection there...

Yeah, that makes more sense. But Parkinsons doesn't run in my family, so I'm not sure if I'm predisposed to it or not. Not sure if it's a genetic thing or not.

In my family, it tends to be cancer that takes us away, usually in the 70's - Except my paternal Leo grandpa, who is 93 and still lives in his own house, & gardens and drives, and plays bingo, and makes wood-crafts, and chases around women 30 years younger than him

OH, and I thought I was all alone! kidding...

My top right eye twitches! It started a couple of months ago and it happens maybe once or twice a week. I am going through my wonderful Saturn return, so STRESS is the word here. (I do drink plenty of water though.) And I have a young child, so my sleep is definetely lacking. My mom said she thought it was caused from stress.

I don't get twitches often, but I think they're kind of fun.

Feels weird.

I want to watch it.
