***My Call to the Universe for my friend Perry***

It’s Sunday. I’m at my Aunt's for the weekend.

I go to a BBQ at my cousins house. Her son, my second cousin Evan decides he wants to make a big move out West to California. I tell him I would love to help connect him with anyone I know. He is moving to Southern California though so I’m limited on people I know there.

I then remember my friend Perry. This guy I worked with in LA. I think ‘Oh, he’d be the PERFECT person to connect Evan with.’

So I tell Evan, I know this guy but I’ll have to find his phone number for you. You’d probably dig this guy. He’ll be able to hook you up with people in LA and also you’d have fun just going out for a beer with him. I felt like it was in his destiny to meet him.

So, I look in my cell phone but realize his number is no longer in my phone.

I then get online at my cousins to try and find his phone number maybe in an old email. I search my old emails. Nothing. I look on Cingular website for old call logs to see if his number is there. Nothing.

I then look on white pages phone directory online. Nothing.

I then look to find his email as last resort. Nothing.

I realize there is no way I can find this guys number. I have no friends that know him. He was a co-worker of mine for a short time.

But I can’t stop. I know it’s in Evans destiny to meet this person.

So, we leave Adriennes. I tell Even I will get Perrys phone number somehow, someway.

I get back to my aunt's house.

I go to sleep.

The next morning I decide, okay how will I get in touch with Perry?

I realize that I’ve used every possible ‘logical’ way to connect with him in a modern world…phones, email, etc.

BUT, wait!

What about calling to the Universe.

So, in spirit of my hippie roots, I go outside after my aunt leaves for work.

It’s noon.

I walk out into the backyard, onto the lawn near the woods.

I step onto a rock.

I get into position to the sun.

I clasp my hands together, and make a call to the universe.

I say:
“Hello Universe! It’s me Nancy. I’ve got a favor to ask of you. I’m trying to get ahold of an old friend. My cousin Evan is moving out to California and I want him to meet this guy. His name is Perry, Perry Black.

Then I realize, maybe I should be calling Perry himself through the Universe.

So I say:
”Perry…Perry Black.can you hear me? It’s Ants in the Pants Nance! We haven’t spoken in a while and I need you to call me. We need to get in contact.

I get louder.

PERRY! Can you hear me out there. I’m 3,000 miles away but right now I am right next to you. Feel my vibrations.

Then I go back to the Universe:
”I state my intention right now to the Universe. I send my intention through the cosmos, feel my energy flowing. My intention is that I need Perry to call me on my cell phone.

I get louder.

MY CELL PHONE NUMBER IS: 310-779-4811!

I need Perry Black to call me within 24 hrs. from this moment, on my cell phone.

Thank You Universe. I appreciate your help.”

I instill faith in myself and the Universe that my intention will manifest.

I Let Go.

I leave the woods and the rock (the neighbors probably thought I was up to something strange due to my flailing arms and loud voice) and head back into the house.

I've been down on the Internet for days now...I'm using dial up just to check messages and of course pop onto LL.

Nephthys, yes the flooding has kept me in my house for days...it hasn't stopped raining as you know for 12 days! I love the rain though. It feels so refreshing out today. I just want to sit outside and breathe the air today while the rain has temporarily stopped.
