Hi. I am having a bit of trouble figuring out the truth about when my Saturn will return. When I do a progressed chart on Astrodienst- it appears that it is about to return. Can someone be so kind as to hold my hand through this... I am having trouble.

I feel like Saturn's been returning for some time now, but I was told that Saturn is sitting on my Leo Mars and Pluto on my Sag Mercury.

How would you guys think that would effect a person?

Here is the chart:

Hi Crystelle~

You Saturn Return is when transiting Saturn is conjunct your natal Saturn. Yours is at 0*Virgo. Your actual Saturn Return won't happen 'till Sept 2007. You will Start to feel it quite a bit when it's within 8* of your Saturn though (I think around the end of June 2007). My boyfriend and 2 of my good friends also have Saturn @ 0*Virgo!

Yes, transiting Saturn is sitting right on your natal Mars right now in the 6th house. This is like having your foot on the gas pedal & break pedal at the same time. Your Mars wants action, to do things, but, Saturn is limiting your actions, making you s..l..o...w...d...o...w...n. This is focused in your 6th house of daily routines and/or your job. You might also feel like supressing your anger during this transit.

Ok, gonna go see a movie. Will try and post more later

So accurate, Hexxie.

Gosh, I am certainly not looking forward to my saturn return then. I was sure that I was already encountering that... sigh.

I am looking at my progressed chart and trying to figure it out. I am still pretty weak when it comes to this aspect of astrology. The natal is on the inside and progressed is on the outside, I get that... But as far as the time factor, how do I figure that into it? How did you know that Saturn would be returning in September of 2007?

Thank you for your council!

It's not returning just yet. It's still at 9 degrees Leo. From about the middle of September onwards you will start to experience it. I would advise you not to worry about it. I would say that if you still want to be alive in your late 50's - 60 take head of what Saturn tells you in the next couple of years. I've just been through mine in 17 degrees Cancer a while ago. Must admit as i was born with Saturn Retrograde 3 degrees away from my Ascendant in Cancer! I couldn't really tell the difference when it returned. Maybe life has hardened me that much!

oh yes, I am quite understanding of what saturn brings. my parents are both in the middle of theirs- and divorced after 35 years. My partner is also encountering his. I figured since I'm 28 that everything I was experiencing was Saturns return... now with close calculations, I see that its that damn Saturn again sitting on my natal Mars - what a ***** too! I FEEL LIKE I have been encountering the saturn return, so I am just like what the F-- is THAT gonna be like!!

So please if you would help me to grasp figuring out the transit specifics, if you would be so sweet and kind, because thats where I start to scratch my head.

When will saturn move away from my mars? And how do you translate the chart into time (as in how do you interpret the transits?)- make sense??

Saturn is in each sign for about 2 1/2 years.

I would say to get an ephemeris calendar every year so you can look ahead where the planets are. I like Llewellyn's Astrological Calendar or Jim Maynard's Pocket Astrologer. Or you can go to astro.com where you did your chart and instead of doing a progressed chart do a natal and transits chart. You can change the date on that, which is wht I did.

Here's something i found from cafeastrology.com on Saturn transiting the 6th house:

quote:
Saturn turns his critical eye on matters of the sixth house, and you are likely to feel a certain level of pressure in the areas of work, daily functions, habits, and health. At the beginning of the transit, you might find yourself more accountable than ever when it comes to your work. You may initially feel bogged down by what seems like undue pressure in your routines. The key word here is "seems", simply because the nature of Saturn is such that the pressure it brings is never truly undue. In fact, Saturn knows better than us, and it is in reality very much "due". Why? Because things we may have previously neglected or disregarded now come up for inspection. How can we make best use of our time? How can we manage our day-to-day lives, and our bodies, better? Saturn pressures here make us aware of all of the "fluff" we have surrounding our daily routines and our work, and spring cleaning is now in order. This is an excellent time for starting new regimens to better our health and well-being, such as regular exercise, more structured and productive use of our time, and so forth. In fact, we might be faced with life events that force us to do so, or at least provide us with the motivation to get our acts together. Traditionally, this transit was associated with health problems. Generally, though, if health concerns manifest, they are ones that are manageable. They signal the need for change in diet, routines, and habits. By the end of the transit, you will likely have learned to be more productive, healthier, and considerably more focused.
