I just started reading this book 2 days ago, and I can't put it down. I love books like that. It's so meaty with information, and genuine suspence, I'm afraid to miss out on it. I must warn you though, that it challenges the Catholic Church in many ways. But, it's awesome so far.

Any other readers here?

lioneye ~

And you will NOT be able to put it down until you've finished the last page! Dan Brown is an astounding writer. I liked Demons & Angels even better than DaVinci Code. And the other two books, Deception Point and Digital Fortress are both wonderful reads also.

Have fun exploring his stuff! It's a letdown when you finish them all because there are no more out there to devour!!

Yes, yes, yes....I read that book by the awesome writer Dan Brown last year, and like everyone else could not put it down.....

Just a couple weeks ago I finally read ANGELS AND DEMONS also by Dan Brown...and I think I enjoyed this one even more too....

I'm planning on reading more of his work.....

***********************

The movie, THE DA VINCI CODE, is supposed to be out in the theatres in May this year...and Tom Hanks, is to play Robert Langdon...

Hope the movie is as good as the book....

Luv,
Rainbow

Yes, I've read it too. It's a great read. I went to Paris and visited some of the scenes and paintings mentioned in the book.

Both books were soo awesome, however I liked The Da Vinci Code better just because of the chance that it may be true. Ha i'm such a conspiracy theorist .

Im SOOOO excited about the movie, and Tom Hanks is going to play Robert Langdon? I absolutely love Tom Hanks, hes such an incredible actor. Forrest Gump is my all time favorite movie.

Yes, it is one of my favorite books! It is one of the few books I was unable to put down. I just saw the trailer for the film, from www.ifilm.com

Yes...just a quick hello!
Nothing more.
Not comfortable here at LL these days....
This felt like a safe topic.
Me reading a book twice should not stir someone to badmouth me again.

I have not read any other of his books. Not being drawn to them at this time.
DC was interesting indeed! But not very factual...
But a good thriller/mystery that moves along fast paced!
Will see the movie when it gets to DVD. Can not do theatres usually.

Me and mine?
Same as ever...not much changes around here.
Thanks for asking.

I read it and couldn't put it down either. I tried to read Angels & Demons btu for whatever reason it didn't hook me in the first few chapters so I didn't finish.

When I was on vacation a few years ago staying at a fairly large resort, we were at the pool and counted 11 other people reading the book out at the pool. I'm not sure how many copies of the book he sold but the book was on the NY times best seller list for literally a year or two if I recall.
