Well, I visited the A.R.E/Edgar Cayce foundation yesterday in Virginia Beach! I took my daughter Sarah who is 8 and we had a cool time there! We went to the bookstore first, and we bought an Enigma cd--for myself...but they had a little area set up where you could sample the cd's, and since Sarah has just finished studying a unit on Egypt in school, she picked out a cd with Egyptian music..it's called Enchanted Egypt and it's REALLY cool. I didn't realize this, but I had a past life report done once by the foundation and it said I have strong ties to Egpyt and the Holy Lands...no WONDER I LOVE the music sooooo much!! And now Sarah does too!! It's awesome! Um..then I bought a book on dreams and interpretations...and Sarah picked out a heart shaped stone, of purple color and gave to me =), and then a pretty amber stone for herself, and a crystal that is really pretty! She LOVES gemstones. Then, we went to a free lecture on Dreams! The lecturer Inga was really nice and it was a cool lecture! She spoke that Edgar Cayce believed dreams to be messages from God...and I like how God/Jesus was incorporated into her lecture.
Dreams are 3 levels...personal, cultural and universal but in some fashion they all tie to our life situations...and of course our life is 3 things..Spirit, Mind and Result...
I have notes but they are currently in my notebook in another room and I'm too lazy to go get them right now ha..but I will get them up tomorrow...and I'll post some photos I took of the foundation and of his house! And the next time I visit, I'm getting a spa treatment, for they have TONS of types!!!
All in all it was a great day and a great experience...and I'm glad I shared it with Sarah, she enjoyed looking through his bookstore just as much as me, and her interest level was spiked when she found a book on his beliefs in Atlantis...she is HIGHLY interested in the myths of Atlantis...I believe I'm going to order a past life report on Sarah through the foundation...it might prove to be VERY interesting..don't you think?!
Anyways..I'll get the photos up as soon as I can!!
