So, in GU, I get accused by jwhop of not being "deep" enough.

But in the Astrology forum, apparently, I'm too "deep". (It would be nice if people could read my words and actually extract from them the meaning I tried to put into them.)

You've got a pot party on page five, and your pet bulldog penned up and scaring innocent passers-by on page six. Just what kind of site are you running here, anyway? Seems you'll put up with anything... except my calling a spade a spade, of course.

It occurred to me yesterday (and I don't know why it hadn't sooner) that it would be very interesting to speak to you about this in real-time. I'm sure that notion horrifies you.

You've lost so many that meant so much here. Don't you see why? Don't you care?

Do me the favor of de-registering me, so I'm less tempted to waste my time like this.

I'm going to go turn Linda back over now.

Why do you tsk tsk tsk and leave when you could up the spirituality factor you claim is missing with a few gentle posts?

I can't believe you are getting all up in arms about a string designed for fun....
I can understand GU...... I avoid that place mostly.....

I commend Randall..for the wonderful job he has done..dealing with all our nonesense..meanness..judgement..lack of respect..But you know what I have HOPE, in the underlying goodness in all..

As a fellow Libran, I would just like to say that attacking Randall ("Randall, You Suck") -- for not spending his life trying to censor thousands of posts per day in order to protect those with more delicate sensibilities -- is UNFAIR. There, I did it!! Didn't you shudder when you read that?? Most Libras HATE being unfair!!

While we're on the topic, who do you think should be appointed to be this Censor and Upholder of all that's "Right" so that Linda won't turn over in her grave?? Should we give this Censor power to censor anything at his/her whim?? Who would oversee the Censor??

Do we draw the line at illegal activities?? If so, then to be fair and impartial we'd better censor all the gay references in threads, since gay sex is still illegal in some states in the USA.

You incite anger right off by the title of this thread. How horrible to have to degenerate into name calling.

You DO this every do often where you start to get on your soap box and put everyone down for not wanting to participate in your posts. Here is a news-flash "Just because YOU think you are brilliant (and others may concur) it doesn't mean that you will have 5 pages of posts reinforcing that opinion"

Some people DON'T care to share with you or me or anyone else. We (and it doesn't matter how long we've been here) all have had threads die on the vine or devolve from what we intended into some kind of weird-fest.

People in the past gave you wonderful advice and they did it again this lastest time, but you just keep acting as though no one is tolerant enough, smart enough, deep enough...etc.. to reach you or understand you. UGH!!!!

Anyway, it's a shame that YOU didn't have the patience to just "be" and let others "be" on this site.

If he/she doesn't like things here, he can either stay and try to change it or just plain look for greener pastures elsewhere. In the meantime, I think paras is entitled to share his opinion (although the "Randall sucks" title might not have been wise).

I'm so tempted to moralize here,
and try to one-up everybody else, lol!

So many sides of the story,
I'm just listening for the side I haven't heard yet.

I think 'Zala said it very well.
I like what Pixie said about upping the spirituality factor with posts of our own
("light a candle..").
And Day Dreamer used paras' own words to make the point.

All these points probably needed to be made,
and I hope paras sees them,
and receives them with wisdom.
"For a wise man loves instruction,
but a fool despises correction."

Still,
I hate to gang up on people.
Even when it seems like they've got it coming.
We all lose our cool sometimes.
At least, I know I do.

And,
Who knows what transits paras is experiencing
(besides merc in retro)....

Not to make excuses...
I dont believe in excuses,
but in reasons.
I have great faith in reasons.

And whatever emotional responses we may have,
whatever indignation,
however righteous our intolerance of intolerance of intolerance may seem...

Paras had a reason for feeling, thinking, and expressing these things.
And reasons arent good or bad, they just are.
And they are not ordained down here on earth.

In fact, Paras doesnt really exist at all.
None of us do.

But of course Randall doesn't suck (not that there's anything wrong with that ). He runs this site out of his own pocket, but it's not his job to baby-sit everyone. I'm a big fan of Randall, even though I've never really had the pleasure of talking to him. Some of his posts in O&H are simply awesome, though.
