I know there was a thread recently, about RHCP's latest cd-Stadium Arcadium. Acoustic God I think you posted it? Can't find the thread.

Anyway I bought it and it not that bad. Though, I like the 2nd cd ( Mars)better than the first one. It's more lively and upbeat, I think.

Also, I bought Anthony Kiedis' autobiography book. It is captivating and I can't put it down. Can't believe people put themselves through that!

I did indeed.

Yeah, I agree. I listen to Mars quite a bit more than Jupiter.

Good music, though, huh? I like the new things they're doing.

They are evolving wouldn't you agree Acoustic God?

Anyway, I still think their Californication & Blood, Sugar ,Sex, Magik albums are their best. But, then again, that is my opinion!

Blood Sugar Sex Magik was a great album. Possibly their best. I didn't buy Californication, but based on what I heard on the radio I'd say that Stadium Arcadium is better (mostly because you could take your favorite 16 songs from Stadium Arcadium or whatever and construct for yourself an album rivaling or outdoing Californication I'm guessing).

They are indeed evolving, and there are lots of new sounds on this album while still sounding very RHCP. I think there's a lot of tribute to classic rock on this album too, which is interesting. I also think the funk is some of the best I've heard in a while. The moody songs have taken on a more refined form it seems.

I'm listening to RHCP right now... but their last album. I'm thinking of getting their new one.
It worth getting?

TMNF-I recommend you get the new RHCP cd. Not only is it great, but you get two CDs for the price of one...ha..ha

I see you live in England-same here! Where about do you live? Email me and perhaps we can meet sometime?

Ask Randall for my email address if you are interested!

MNF,

If you like them, you should definitely get this album. It's probably their most interesting album. Plus it's pretty consistent.

Cheers for the reccomendation.

Yang, I would love to meet, but it's probably not wise cos I'm 15! So yeah, maybe a few years yet before I'll do anything iffy like that. Well, any more iffy things that is.
