I have found jobs that way and my cousin always finds room mates that way also.
My ex cappy always lists apartments for rent by his parents and they always get good tenants.

LOVE the craigslist!!  I bought my truck, it's wheels, it's stereo, it's toolbox...I've found the best deals on craigs...Hubby has found good jobs on it too... I have a look everyday... the best part is,.. it's local!! Hey, you know what is said about ' one man's treasure...' Why just junk stuff...you never know who might be looking for just that same thing...there are more things to do with stuff, than what it's original intention was...Loads of creative people on the planet  I've not been disappointed so far! Hey, you can always say 'no' anyway so, it's worth a peek

You are not going to believe this!This morning, about 10-11 a.m., I listed my Mom's car, my mountain bike, and a birdcage + playpen. Within the first hour, we got 3 calls for the car, the 1st person that came bought the car + the bike. A lady called right away for the birdcage, came and bought that! This was my first time ever listing on craigslist! It was amazing! What a miracle to sell stuff so fast! Now I am going to list a lot more when I have time! We had a garage sale this weekend and it went much better than expected! IP: Logged |

I used Craigslist when I was in the Bay Area and still use it here in Portland. Yes, it definitely works. Sometimes I just cruise through and see what crazy things people are giving away. I like the pets section.IP: Logged |
