TO BE 6 AGAIN

A man was sitting on the edge of the bed, observing his wife turning back and forth, looking at herself in the mirror.

Since her birthday was not far off, he asked what she'd like to have for her birthday. I'd like to be six again, she replied, still looking in the mirror.

On the morning of her birthday, he arose early, made her a nice big bowl of Lucky Charms, and then took her to Six Flags theme park. What a day!

He put her on every ride in the park; the Death Slide, the Wall of Fear, the screaming Monster Roller Coaster... everything there was.

Five hours later they staggered out of the theme park. Her head was reeling and her stomach felt upside down.

He then took her to a McDonald's where he ordered her a Happy Meal with extra fries and a chocolate shake.

Then it was off to a movie, popcorn, a soda pop, and her favorite candy, M&M's.

What a fabulous adventure! Finally she wobbled home with her husband and collapsed into bed exhausted.

He leaned over his wife with a big smile and lovingly asked, Well, dear, what was it like being six again???

Her eyes slowly opened and her expression suddenly changed.

I meant my Dress Size, you dumb ass!!!

The moral of the story: Even when a man is listening, he is going to get it wrong.

OK "6" ladies, Saturday morning, I'll bring the milk and Lucky Charms and we'll make a day of it.

Just don't call me a "dumb ass"

So, it WAS Saturday morning and I showed up with the milk and Lucky Charms and a day, (evening too) planned to knock the socks off any aspiring "6" woman.

So, where were you Cinderellas, Snow Whites, Sleeping Beauties and Princesses?

Pleeeease Princesses, don't give me the old line you were out kissing frogs trying to find your Prince. Heard that before and besides, the frogs are getting tired of being snatched up and kissed, enough already with chapped frog lips. Besides, any frog you find proclaiming he's really a Prince is lying.

And Cinderellas, those Princes are confirmed bachelors and that glass slipper routine they play over and over is a ruse to eliminate every one of you from any permanent relationship. Notice, I said "permanent" relationship. What they really have in mind is a night, one day, one week, then poof, it's over. That glass slipper is so small it wouldn't fit the foot of a 5 year old girl.

And Snow, haven't I warned you before one of those 7 Dwarves is a troll playing on your good nature? You think he loves your mind but it's your body he's after.

I see Sleeping Beauties slept in, as usual.

So, the bouquets of red roses for the occasion have been taken to the local hospital with instructions to deliver them to women inpatients who need cheering up, with notes saying "A secret admirer".

As for the boxes of chocolates, they're back in my fridge and tonight, I'll park my rear in my BarcaLounger, munch a bunch and contemplate the short attention span and general fickleness of women.

A befuddled jwhop tells us.....

Oops!.....sorry jwhop....

.....gotta admit that....

I was NOT out kissing frogs...(altho a cute little one named jw hopped on my lap) (I'm sure he was a Leo looking for a little attention)...

....and I wouldn't waste my time with that tricky Prince Charming who knows damn well that tiny little glass slipper is not gonna fit any of us "grown up" ladies....*sigh*

...what's more I never did trust those 7 dwarves....I think they're ALL trolls in elves clothing...

....fact is......

I was the "sleeping beauty" who slept in.......
....missing a perfectly marvelous day with jwhop..

Sorry....

*****

Oh btw just wanted to let you know that all of those red roses didn't go to the hospital....
....somehow....

..............someway....

.....a dozen red roses arrived at my door with a note that said "A Secret Admirer."

They were beautiful jwhop...(but I thought they were from Hal Ketchum)....*sigh*

Ok now that this Sun opposite Pluto transit is upon us, some truths are indeed coming out...

Lotus, you're Thumbelina!?!

And no wonder you havent aged past 19 Rainbow, you're sleeping beauty!

Alright, since everyone else has come clean...I must admit, I am the Snow Queen.

Wonder who these Cinderellas, Snow Whites and Princesses jwhop's got in his little black book You're not fooling anyone with that spending your evening in the barcalounger bit...Spill the beans, you're really one of those frogs arent you, tricking those pretty princesses into kissing you?

Or are you really Limbaugh?

Well, in that case, maybe there's an upside to being a toad

Yeah, I thought it was a pretty full day of fun and food too

DayDreamer.....how clever of you to pick up on the fact that Little Lotus was Thumbalina....

.....and the reason I don't "age" is because I'm Sleeping Beauty. *wink*

Thank you so much too, for sharing your photo with!

*Bows down to her lovely Highness The Snow Queen!*
