I like the way ignorance and just being plain rude to people is dressed up as being outspoken and having character.

Similar to the way adults will discuss with amusement a child in the throws of a temper tantrum with sighs of "ahh, he's quite sweet".

I wasn't too bothered about comments thrown my way, I'm still non-plussed, but then this funny little fellow decided to "drop bombs" on all manner of people in all different forums.

Now, if you guys are saying lets tell it like it is, as Paras claims to have done, and been rather vulgar in his expression of it. Then that gives others a little freedom to express ourselves a little more bluntly than usual.

I personally cannot stomach the saccharine sweet undertones that permeate some of the forums, but have actaully been that way MYSELF on occasion, so don't have a tantrum because it would be hyposcrisy. Something that seems to be missed by some here. I simply don't come to the site for a while if I feel that way, because there are sooooo many other things one can do with one's life at such a point.

One thing irks me greatly. HOW THE HELL do you come off as being an official spokesman for Linda??? You read the same books we did, what special insights are you privvy to? I think Linda would likely, and I am assuming here but honest enough to admit it, have a much more open-minded view than your narrow-minded approach to what a forum of people interested in Astrology and other such matters could come to discuss THEIR lives. Especially when we have individual forums for allll the different subjects.

Linda would have matured and evolved like any of us, and indeed, adapted. Perhaps in your wisdom you could try to do the same? Or are you too rigid and stuck in your idea of how things "should" be.

The reason you have irked me so much is because I have seen people either seemingly turning away from the forums or just be plain confused. I am not a moderator or anyone of any importance here more than anyone else. Even though it seems I have been here longer than you, and by your logic could claim that right....

So your attempts to spread a little poison have been quite successful. This point you bring up over-the-top sympathy applies I beleive. To you. Your defendants here display the same. Lucky for you.

If this were a forum where it was really told like it is, my man you wouldn't stand a chance. Enjoy your moment, you created it, you earnt it.

When you go hunting, try something other than "mowons", and you may have to leave the house.

I don't think anyone's truly condoning him, Swerve. I think they're just trying to give him an 'out' again. This isn't the first time Paras has gotten high & mighty on us. Some people try to sympathize with him as a way of saying, "Whenever you get over this, you're free to come back."

As for those who believe this site is strictly about Linda, I'd disagree. She's the instigator and the initiator, but what is taught and learned here exceeds the scope of Linda's work. Most of us don't even agree with everything she had to say. For instance, an easy difference between her and most is the style of houses used. People most commonly use Placidus, but she used Equal. This is ok, though, because Linda advocated people making up their own minds as any sensible person would.

I'm sending our Libran Fairy-Godmother to rap on the other side of your Scales, paras..... Swerve is right -- it wasn't necessary for you to be nasty to people (was it?), no matter how unevolved you *judge* them to be by a few lines in a post.....

Ditto everything you said, Swerve.

I don't see how calling people "mowons", telling them they lack intelligence, etc, is an acceptable way to express yourself. If you are an adult, you should act like one. Could he get away with this kind of behavior at work or in the "real" world?

It has to be one of the most childish displays I have seen; and, oh by the way, I am Libra and let me tell you that is NOT a representation. I find it ironic that on the one hand he would state how superior he is and then on the other hand throw tantrums like a small child.

I don't know Paras, so it isn't personal. I am simply shocked to see the insults flying and then have people "babying" him and telling him basically, "it's okay, baby; we still love you..... please come back."

LOL, WHAT is that about? I mean the guy even insulted Tim Wilson, who has to be the most helpful guy around. What gives people? Some women just like playing the spoiling mommy role, I guess........

ahhh paras, looks like you found me & I`ll be queen mowon for the day because I clearly don`t know what "phosphors irradiated by cathode-ray tubes in a densely-packed lattice" is

Just a thought, remember Ralph Waldo Emersons essay Self - Reliance? An excellent thought cleanser & aid to detaching and objectifying.

I agree with everything Swerve just said in his last post.

I don't know why he thinks he's real and he tells it like it is. He does not tell like it is, he's just obnoxious and has this "God Complex" where he thinks he's all knowing and all powerful the rest of us were born yesterday. He scares away new people who have genuine questions away from the boards-on purpose.

As a matter of fact, I'll tell it like it is:
Paras.... no one likes an attention-wh*re so, once again, can it!

I've had to edit what i previously wrote as i didn't understand what paras was on a bout to start with. Basically i can see where paras is coming from, although the style in which he's done it might not be my choice, and what Swerve says here seems mature and pretty sensible.

He is gone now,and will probably not even look at this thread again. So for all of you to continue putting him down is just a waste of your time, and in turn, promoting negative energy.Let him have his final words, and let us all live in peace.

Love to you, Eliza Libra

Liza - your words would have been more appropriate when others were being insulted for no reason.

No-one wishes to put out negative energy, I find that offensive.

But you are right, this is done.

I think you are right, Eliza, he is gone.... in a very cowardly and ignorant way because he doesn't have the balls to come back and see what people have to say in responce to his rude immature outburst. He wouldn't be able to handle reading it, let alone answering.

And, just like you said, there is no reason for us keep wasting our breath. I am sure everyone has better things to do.

Hey Paras,

What a wonderful way to make me stick my head out of the hole!

Nothing wrong at all with expressing your truth as they say, and perhaps an awful lot of us might even agree with a little of what you say. I became more than just a little downhearted myself and I haven't posted for about a year and a half.

However Paras, life is all about motion and nothing ever stays the same my friend. Nothing.

There are many souls who for one reason or another find within this site something of value, however fleeting. Who truly knows what happens behind the facade of Lindaland.

I do understand how you feel though totally. None of us should follow like sheep someone elses truth or we loose that most precious thing of all our own individuality.

Lets just remember that the shape and size of each soul differs. That the spiritual clothing one wears cannot EVER fit the soul of another, whatever people tell you. That each destiny has it's own unique curvature and that there is no direct or permanent line through to the divine not even through Linda!

There is a presence Paras and sometimes it begins to grow beside you like a tree. When you start bumping against it, then I guess it's time to move direction.

Kahil Gibran articulates how even in a death of a cycle there is still unity.

I think that maybe
I will be a little surer,
of being a little nearer.

Thats all.

Eternity is in understanding
Even a little is enough.

I miss our little chats Paras.

Love always,

Gia

God speed to you.

Gia

Are you the other Gia? If so, why did you have to re-register?

Randall,

I have no idea. I emailed you at least three times on this very subject!

Remember you emailed back and told me to register under another name? For some weird reason it refused to take my post. At first it said there was another Gia, then later it told me something had expired. Still I was not able to use my own name and so now I'm Gea and Gia.
