Ten Things I Want To Do During This Lifetime

1) Sing in front of a huge crowd of screaming people and blow their minds! (County Fair huge would be just fine…) : )

2) Travel to Europe; see Paris, Spain, Italy, and some less popular, less touristy areas.

3) Learn to play my acoustic guitar.

4) Own and manage a ranch camp for alternative spiritual education of troubled teens.

5) Grow my own food.

6) Buy an RV when I retire

7) Visit Hollywood… and Vegas even… take pictures : )

8) Walk in at least 3 state parks in every state.

9) Visit Alaska and Canada

10) Write a book.

Libra Sun
Capricorn Moon
Capricorn Asc
Aquarius Mars
Aquarius NN

What is your list?

wow MysticMelody ~ this reminds of a great book i have....

called 'Write it Down, Make it Happen'...

kind of like word magic

the author shows how people have achieved every dream, as fantastic as possible, by writing lists such as these, and using them to manifest their dreams. this method works in lots of different ways for lots of different circumstances.

From Library Journal

Here, Klauser (Writing on Both Sides of the Brain; Put Your Heart on Paper) instructs her readers to write down their most extravagant wishes and, merely by the act of recording them, make them come true. She claims that the writings themselves are so powerful that they will influence external circumstances. Eventually, however, she reveals that this wish-writing is neither magical nor miraculous. It requires practitioners not only to write their wishes but also to participate actively in achieving them. Her technique is intended to clarify goals, increase self-confidence, and dispel self-doubt, and she describes how it has dramatically improved her life and the lives of her friends and acquaintances. Her faith in the power of writing is evident in her work; readers who share her faith may benefit from her prescribed course of wish fulfillment.

Hehehe ~ I never get anything done unless I have it on a list!

MysticMeldoy- I want to grow my own food too!

My 10 things would be- for the next 10 years!

1)Learn to play piano

2)Take some singing lessons (not that I want to be a singer- I just want to 'open-up' as a person- and be LOUD and more outgoing, singing lessons will be my catalyst for that- I think I have a very quiet voice due to my shyness)

3)Open my own health food store

4)Become a Living on Live foods certified teacher

5)Get off the grid (create a self-sustaining lifestyle)

6)Heal as many people as possible

7)Buy a Yaht and travel the world

8)Get a drivers lisence lol

9)Develop telekenesis abilities

10) Learn how to eat wild foods (bush tucker) from Aboriginies

Salome, Scientifically it activates and directs the subconscious too. I will have to check out that book sometime when I'm not reading text books constantly. I agree with the book's message and have read similar messages before. I have a couple dozen old notebooks with quotes and notes and lists from my journey. I can see when I learned what, what books I was reading, and what my lists/goals were and how many I have accomplished. I have accomplished almost all of the goals, and have made progress on many of the long term goals. Lists do give direction. I know I will do these things, it is just a matter of time. Is your list coming???

Sunchild, I want you to work on my ranch! I'll have to look you up someday! hehe
You are an amazing young person. Thanks for posting your list, it's great!!! I know your list will come true and you are already on your way!!!

cool thread, MM!

cool book, salome!

here's mine,
in no particular order:

Make love to someone I love desperately,
who also loves me desperately.

Make love to someone I love desperately,
who also loves me desperately, for the 10,000th time.

Write an immortal book that changes the world for the better.

Write an immortal book that changes the world for the better,
for the 100th time.

Pay off third-world debt.

See the fall of capitalism.

Experience Christ-Consciousness/Enlightenment

See evolutionary leap in public awareness of empathy.

See public take individual responsibility for over-population.

Meet Rumi.

Might as well aim high! hehehehe

I'm down with the over-population thing. My favorite teacher once said that a couple should NEVER have more than two children, one to replace each of them. Anything else was supremely selfish, given the state of the population.
So, you are going to need 9,998 condoms. You could invest in a company and use the profits to pay off third world debt, after buying all of the other condom companies, then give the third world the condom companies, hopefully causing the fall of capitalism! With nothing to buy, World Enlightenment would come about, and then you would have lots of time to write. I don't know what you are going to do about Rumi, but maybe you can remote meet him with all of that enlightenment and gardening that will be going on. hehehe Now I might have to revise my list... I've been aiming too low...

10 Things I Want To Do This Lifetime

1. Invent a story for a book, movie, or play.

2. Become a charity fundraiser particularly for facilitating adoption.

3. Create works using wood, metal, fabric, possibly stone, and food.

4. Act

5. Give people chances/opportunities they might not normally have.

6. Visit South America, Africa and Russia.

I think I'll come back later for the rest. I have images, but I'm not certain that they qualify as things I want to do this lifetime. They're more like states I want to be in this lifetime.

Wow! Great stuff guys! I'll have to think about it some more.

One thing right off the top of my head is to learn how to play the harmonica I bought this past weekend. FINALLY!
I've always wanted to learn how to play that instrument.

The Harp. (that's what you call it if you play the blues. What I want to play.)

Oh, and another book that talks about writing out goals, the subconscious, and how the universe always says yes to whatever we concentrate our attention on is The Millionaire Course by Marc Allen. I'm reading this one now, and I like it. He's really just condensed a lot of other people's work into a book of what's worked for him. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/1577312325/sr=8-2/qid=1152253198/ref=pd_bbs_2/002-1835668-1081618?ie=UTF8

One I read years ago, and have often thought about picking up again is, The Power of Your Subconscious Mind, by Dr. Joseph Murphy, D.R.S., Ph.D, D.R., L.L.D. Copyright 1963! Interesting stuff for certain. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0553583182/qid=1152253638/sr=2-1/ref=pd_bbs_b_2_1/002-1835668-1081618?s=books&v=glance&n=283155

1. Have a relationship that involves real sex with a real person.
2. Get a fanbase.
3. Wreak revenge.
4. Grow a beard.
5. Host a dinner party that ends in sex, debauchery, embarassment and generally good times for all.
6. Join a travestite club without anyone realising I am actually a woman!!!
7. Gain some sort of acknowledgement for something I can do well.

9. A serious one- actually learn everything I can about astrology.
10. BE LOVED BY SOMEONE OF THE OPPOSITE SEX!
That is the ultimate wish. And probably the only true desire on the list haha....!
