"God is a comedian playing to an audience that is afraid to laugh." - Voltaire"Life is entirely too important to be taken seriously." - G.K. Chesterton "Blessed are they who can laugh at themselves, for they shall never cease to be amused." - Anonymous
((http://www.halexandria.org/dward015.htm))
"Legend has it that the Toaist sage, Lao Tzu, was born laughing, and nearly every depiction of the Buddha has him seated in hysterics, as if audience to a most hilarious spectacle.... Jesus wept, tradition tells us. But they conspicuously forgot to mention his laughter. Maybe that's why the tradition is falling down, like a mighty tree (or another tower of babel), and not bending like the supple reeds; less impressive in their grandeur, but, also, less calcified, less rigid and resistant to change, and with a humble wisdom that transcends the storm." - C'est moi
"Fart, and the whole world is offended... But, make a fart joke, and you're instantly forgiven!" - C'est moi! Be Great!, H to the S to the C
ps.
"Whosoever is not eager to see his/her words in quotes, should scarcely proceed to utter them." - yup!, you guessed it!

LANCELOT: Camelot! Camelot! In far-off France I heard your call. Camelot! Camelot! And here am I to give my all. I know in my soul what you expect of me, And all that and more I shall be. A knight of the Table Round should be invincible! Succeed where a less fantastic man would fail. Climb a wall no one else can climb, Cleave a dragon in record time, Swim a moat in a coat of heavy iron mail. No matter the pain, he ought to be unwinceable, Impossible deeds should be his daily fare. But where in the world Is there in the world A man so *extraordinaire*? C'est moi! C'est moi, I'm forced to admit. 'Tis I, I humbly reply. That mortal who These marvels can do, C'est moi, c'est moi, 'tis I. I've never lost In battle or game; I'm simply the best by far. When swords are crossed 'Tis always the same: One blow and au revoir! C'est moi! C'est moi! So adm'rably fit! A French Prometheus unbound. And here I stand, with valour untold, Exeption'ly brave, amazingly bold, To serve at the Table Round! The soul of a knight should be a thing remarkable! His heart and his mind as pure as morning dew..... With a will and a self-restraint That's the envy of ev'ry saint! He could easily work a miracle or two. To love and desire he ought to be unsparkable!
The ways of the flesh should offer no allure.... But where in the world Is there in the world A man so untouched and pure? (C'est moi!) C'est moi! C'est moi, I blush to disclose. I'm far too noble to lie. That man in whom These qualities bloom, C'est moi, c'est moi, 'tis I. I've never strayed From all I believe; I'm blessed with an iron will. Had I been made The partner of Eve, We'd be in Eden still! C'est moi! C'est moi! The angels have chose To fight their battles below, And here I stand, as pure as a pray'r, Incredibly clean, with virtue to spare, The godliest man I know! C'est moi! Camelot Soundtrack Lyrics Artist: Robert Goulet Song: C'est Moi hehehehehhhehhe I'm not saying you are arrogant... but you kept saying C'est Moi! and I love this song And even when you are a little arrogant... most of us still love you for it! Carry on, Lance! lol IP: Logged |

Wow, Mystic, that was perfect. Perfectly apt. You got me right, alright. C'est moi! ((((((But I've got vices to spare, as well.)))))) Was it you who posted that Marianne Williamson quote, "who are you NOT to be fabulous?"??? What can I say? "I know what I know, if you know what I mean." - e.b. "I sing the body electric! I celebrate the me yet to come!" - my great uncle (or is it great-uncle?) walt The time of poo-poo-ing ourselves is past! Would you believe that I got into a car accident today, partly because I am so in love with myself, and couldnt help rereading a poem i wrote (because I had to be sure it was really as good as it felt)? Well, that was partly it. It was raining bobcats and... giant dogs (like Clifford!). The guy in front of me stopped short (swear to God). I managed to look up in time, and stop just short of him before i was rear-ended (woo-hoo!). I havent been this manic in... days. I can say the word "musical" to you because you are comfortable in your masculinity and your femininity You ROCK. Glad you survived your rear-ending. At least it is considered their fault, which it IS. Silly people who ride up on yer bumper. IP: Logged |

Totally. Nothing is my fault, EVER!I look at myself in the rearview a lot. I cant help it, I'm THAT beautiful. And my eyes,.. dont get me started on my eyes. I seduce myself. It's hard not to look. I usually despise musicals, lol. Sorry. I acted in a couple and it was HELL. Urgh! No thank you. Straight plays for me, thank you. And I do mean straight. securely. s

okay...first of all, its "doth"... and I do not! second, its "long-tailed cats"... and i played the jester in Once Upon A Matress actually, thats it for musicals, - but I was Jamie Thurber (lead role, baby!) in "Jaberwocky", and I had to sing some dumb song at one point. yuck. musicals just rub me the wrong way - its not an effeminite thing, its a phony thing. I cant dig it, sorry. Not even that big on comedies. Give me "The Crucible" any day. - s IP: Logged |
