The time of poo-poo-ing ourselves is past!

Would you believe that I got into a car accident today,
partly because I am so in love with myself,
and couldnt help rereading a poem i wrote
(because I had to be sure it was really as good as it felt)?
Well, that was partly it.
It was raining bobcats and... giant dogs (like Clifford!).
The guy in front of me stopped short (swear to God).
I managed to look up in time,
and stop just short of him
before i was rear-ended (woo-hoo!).
I havent been this manic in... days.

I look at myself in the rearview a lot.

And my eyes,.. dont get me started on my eyes.

It's hard not to look.

I usually despise musicals, lol.
Sorry.
I acted in a couple and it was HELL.
Urgh! No thank you.
Straight plays for me, thank you.

I wish I would have been brave and talented enough to be in more than one musical. (I'm counting my "cast" role in the 6th grade production of The Cookie Lady.)

and i played the jester in
Once Upon A Matress

actually, thats it for musicals, -
but I was Jamie Thurber (lead role, baby!)
in "Jaberwocky",
and I had to sing some dumb song at one point.

yuck.

musicals just rub me the wrong way -
its not an effeminite thing,
its a phony thing.
I cant dig it, sorry.

Not even that big on comedies.

Give me "The Crucible" any day.
