Good Luck!
If I could've done it accidentally, I would've done it years ago.
It's still a bit hard, but I mean, I have to. I wanted to quit now. I just tell that to the part of me who whines for one.

Good for you!

I am with Mark Twain in this one so far. As he said
"Giving up smoking is the easiest thing in the world. I know because I've done it thousands of times."

Cool!

I've got 3 helpful hints.

1) Take deep breaths &/or meditate when the urge hits. It will pass much sooner.

2) Exercize instead of eating-dance, jump up & down, shake it out. The main thing is to wear yourself out.

3) Drink lots of water.

Good Luck.

Something in licorice and sunflower seeds dulls the nic cravings, and they also give you something to do with your hands and mouth. Save a stale smoke for the end of the day and tell yourself you can have a couple puffs if you HAVE to, but not till right before sleep.

Pix, now is the easiest time to quit, you have motivation and nausea. Do it, Pix.
Every morning, surrender the habit and cravings to God. Ask for help. Ask and you shall receive. You can do it!

Oh yeah!
I've been a week cold turkey and I'm fine!
Before that, I had cut down to about three/four a day.. and did that for a while, and just thought.. if I don't break this habit completely, I will be toddling around with a big ol' belly and still having 'three' a day... and that's no good, so I just quit. No more crutches for me... and yes, good motivation!
The nausea started for me this week.... all through out the day, usually when I smell something funny or I am hungry ( which is seriously always.)

I'm a non-smoker.
