Does anyone here believe in God? And if so, do you believe He would be angry about people practicing the occult?IP: Logged |

Good question....but - could you be more specific by your meaning of "practicing the occult?" I definetly believe in a higher intelligence; a Creator...God - if you will.... .....and if you're speaking of believing in and using astrology as somewhat of a guideline, as one way of "practicing the occult".... Well, my answer is..... ...in no way would God with his super intelligence and understanding be angry....by our using a gift that he gave us... Actually, I don't think the "God" that I perceive would ever be angry at anything or anyone....because he is waaay beyond ever resorting to any kind of negative energy. My opinion....

Rainbow~ I am with you on that! BTW... Occult actually means "HIDDEN" or secret knowlege. Hi fayte... Nice to know we are of the same mind on this.... and.. Yes...I did know that occult means hidden....but I know it means so many other things to different people too, so I wondered what she meant when speaking of the "occult." I'm not God (not yet ) but I'm against dabbling in black magic...me thinks that's a no no... IP: Logged |

I think we are all God. We are each a pure expression of our creator. Every single one of us is an enigma, carved out of an awesome power. I feel like it is our PURPOSE to dismantle God. Whether through philosophy, or science, or spiritualism, the very reason for the human existence is to discover what "IT" is all about. IP: Logged |

Rainbow~ Yes...black magic is not to be trifled with.I know folks think love spells are good but I think those are closer to dark magic rather than good. To spell someone like that, is to invade their space. What if the person wanting the spell done is not right for that person or that person right for them? I just feel that is a dangerous area to venture into. Same for spells and even prayers folks do out of kindness. Someone wants a person out pf pain. They spell or pray. The person dies, suffice it to say....no more pain. But the spellcaster or prayer folks who asked for that person to be pain free...cry; "Why did he/she die?!" I get really upset when I have encountered this reaction. I say to them...you got exactly what you prayed or spelled for. God, the universe, whatever...will take the quickest and easiest path to fulfill the spell and or prayer. Next time request renewed good health, not freedom from pain. Ok rant over! ------------------ Age is a State of Mind. I do believe in God.God as per my belief (and personal experience) is the Universal Energy that is omnipresent! How does "he" (why not a "she") react to occult? What we sow is what we get. We channelse the energy through our thoughts and deeds, and whatever we project in our mind is what we get. Everything is GODLY and we have the power to choose what spectrum of this energy do we need. The deities that we worship are merely different facets of different energy spectrums of The One.

CappyChic I ask the same as Rainbow.... What is your definition of "occult"?Which leads me to another question. Seems when folks talk of light...the light...white light...and so forth; they are not all talking about the same thing. It makes it really hard to discuss certain things if definitions are not in sync. So exactly what are folks referring to? Like light is always good. No. Light can be blinding or deceptive. It is hard to talk about things when everyone is on a different page using a different concept or definition for the same word(s). So it is with "occult". Do I believe in God? Yes. But again, my definition runs different from many. So again we run into not speaking of the same thing perhaps. Like loving Jesus. Just because I have love and respect for him does not mean I am a Christian, nor do I consider him a deity. But the love and respect are real. ------------------ Age is a State of Mind.
