... it's getting closer. How are you doing? As you can see, it's three am and I'm up and about. Can't get comfy enough to sleep.

Are you ready?

I'm doing very well - no complaints at all really. I'm actually surprised by how good I feel. I've been lucky. No trouble sleeping, no back aches, no medical issues, didn't gain too much weight ..... and NO STRETCH MARKS! (knock on wood) Swollen ankles though - but I'm on my feet all day for work. It was inevitable I guess. Now if I can just get through this labor thing.

I'm due in about 2 weeks.

Thanks for asking

No baby yet. I've got about 4 (long!) weeks to go.

Tink, I'm glad to hear you're doing so well. Overall I'm doing great, just can't get comfortable enough to sleep through a a night. I, like you, am on my feet all day at work (I'm a server) so I've also had problems with swollen ankles. No stretch-marks here yet. Although I still have time and from what I hear they kind of pop up overnight... you may be in the clear, though!

I'm getting so antsy, though! Keep us posted.

Pix, I'm also excited about the mommies and babies! It's good to have other mamas-to-be around here so I don't have to feel like a total cuckoo when I want to talk babies!

Yay! Yay! Yay!

Yeah, I've heard that about stretch marks too. My husband's niece was kind enough to inform me that she got her stretch marks after giving birth. Little twit.

I'm antsy sometimes too. On the one hand I want to see the little guy an awful lot and get started on the mommy thing, on the other hand being pregnant is fun and I sort of don't want it to end. I also feel like I'll never be ready. I need more time to prepare. This nesting instinct is overwhelming - if I clean out one more closet or rearrange more furniture they'll lock me up.

I'm going to go re-do my bedroom closet now.

I know what you mean. I stayed up after midnight last night because I refused to go to bed until I had finished cleaning my bathroom lights.

The globes, you know? It was important.
