Does anyone here play cello?

I am learning the fiddle at the moment, but intend to buy a cello when I am 50. I also hope to join a band when I am competent enough.

Oooh its such a beautiful instrument, so powerful and strong. I can hardly wait to start....

This lady was amazing, does anyone know of her, she is called Jacqueline du pre

I don't play the Cello, so sorry I can't help. But I agree, its a beautiful instrument.

I picked up a copy of J.S. Bach's six Cello Suites a couple weeks ago and I absolutely love it.

Good luck, Sue.

Thanks SW

Do you play any instruments. I meant to say to you before, your chart is very similar to the man of my dreams, Mr Jeff Buckley. Did you know he has Sun, Venus, Merc and Neptune in Scorp and Leo rising and an air moon (aqua). That is very similar to you isnt it?

Are you very musical or creative at all?

Yeah, like Jeff Buckley, I have Sun, Merc and Venus in Scorpio. No Neptune. Mine is in Sag. Yup, Leo Asc too. Yup, Air Moon too (Libra).

I play guitar and sing just like everyone else on this planet. And like everyone else, I feel I'm pretty talented.

I think I have a nice new sound. I fill my music collection with all sorts of wild stuff, and I still feel I manage to create something unique: my biggest fear is being dragged into the mass of musical cliches that have really cheapened today's music.

I used to play the violin,
but from all of the string instruments the cello sounds the best in my opinion.

Sue G.~ Cool!! I play the fiddle. Have since the 3rd grade and I love the cello, too.

Good luck in your learning. Let us know how well you're doing. Okay?

Hey thanks everyone!!

I am very excited about buying one....but I promised myself I would give the fiddle a little more chance, as I am slow to learn...

A psychic friend of mine said she got a "message" for me, which said "tell her to get that cello between her legs"....haha... that amused me somewhat!

I just get such a strong feeling from the cello....like I could channel a thousand emotions into it.....it feels right....somehow!

Thanks for the pics guys.....I love em!!
