Oh my....

The local parish school is experiencimg serious episodes of bullying and abuse, both by children and teachers.

Three years ago I was looking around for a school to send our son to. The nearest one was the one I mention above. I got a bad vibe from it when I drove past? So I decided to investiage. I put out prayers to the Heavens and sure enough I met half a dozen children who had experienced being hit on the head by books (by teachers), been called bitches, and worse (by teachers) and also kicked and punched by other kids.

I wrote to the school about this, but seemingly my letter was ignored.

Today as I was coming out of the library I saw a woman Ive not seen for some time. She seemed stressed and agitated and then broke down in tears. I took her to her car and she asked me to sit in with her. She told me her eight year old son was being bullied and the Principle was doing nothing about it. When she challenged the teacher, her reply was "oh what is the problem Theresa, come into the church and pray with me" !!!!!! She totally evaded the problem.

So incensed I felt when I reached home, I didnt know what to do and then decided to go to the church which is next to the school and asked for the priest...he wasnt there, so I got his number from a man doing repairs in there.

I am going to see him soon to talk with him about this behaviour, although I am told it has already been reported to him and it has been "swept under the rug".

I shall report this school if nothing is done.....gone are the days when child abuse and bullying should be overlooked...

I will take this story to the press if I have to...

Please pray for these children who are being taught by a bunch of hypocritical so called christians....

It makes me sick !!!

And if anyone is wandering why I am so up in arms (when my own son doesnt even attend this school)......its becos for the past 10 years of working as a healer, the stories I have heard would make yer hair curl....stories of mothers who knew their precious children were being abused by the priests and nuns and teachers and stood by and allowed it.....all in the name of God... . And I thought mankind was evolving!

The other reason of course is....I am a mother.

This makes me want to weep.

Sue, mankind is evolving and the proof is because you are now willing to take this to the highest level. That is the right thing to do. I send my light to you so that you find the strength to push forward so the little ones get treated better. I have stood up for a few things in my life and its never easy because they will do whatever it takes to make you look like the bad one. God bless.

WHAAAAAAAAAAAT???

I could just hit those bullies on the head! But of course violence won't solve anything. Pardon my aggressiveness (Moon opposition Mars, you know). Anyway, I support you 111% Sue! This kind of thing can't be let happening. More than making me want to weep, it makes me want to take action.

That is awful, sue!! I just can't stand people who are bullies. The children are bullies because they learn it from the adults.

Bless those poor kids!!

good for you to stand up to the school.

My former boyfriend, an Irishman said back when he was a child, an alter boy, there was all sorts of sexual abuse happening in the church and it was never discussed. Kids didn't feel safe to step up; and even if they did speak, parents denied it. There is such thing as having TOO much faith~

those poor kids. here in america you can sue a school for negligence like this. in fact there have been cases when parents of bullies have been sued.

Go for it Sue! This really makes my blood boil. First of all, how can they call themselves Christians and allow for this to happen. Second of all, what a weak authority (and integrity) they have to sit back and let all of this happen in the first place. Personally, I wouldn't even enroll my child in that school.

Thanks katipo..

Well I went to see the Priest....very nice man, but he did that thing they often do, being a little dismissive, until I said "well I found the mother breaking down in the street cos she had seen her son cowering behind the fence at school and then saw a huge boot mark on his leg.

He agreed to sort it out and thanked me for bringing it to his attention. He said I was very honest!! I replied, I was raised that way.....and also to look out for my fellow man....I am a mother, these things move me...he just looked at me.

Yes a nice man but I was a little taken aback when I said to me him that it was nice to be with spiritual folk and he replied "spiritual,,,,I dont know if I am that"?

He also looked surprised when he asked me if I was scared of flying and I said "no not at all, I believe God is always with me, so I dont fear" and he replied "really"?

We talked about my mother's death and heaven and stuff, which was nice, but I couldnt quite help thinking when I left, why he had become a priest.....I wouldnt have been surprised if he had said God.....God who.....? If anyone has ever seen the tv prog, Father Ted, you would understand the humour!

I am going back to see him......I like him....and who knows I may be able to strengthen his faith a little......

I have some good stories about nuns which I think he would enjoy,

Am not sure he will do anything about the bullying problem tbh.....he seemed a little uncomfortable about me raising it, although he was polite. I think a lot of folk turn a blind eye with things here....

I wont though...I shall be looking out for those children....it could have been our boy...
