WaterNixie!! I'm so sad from your word

btw, I can't reply in your New Name thread!! Every time I try, I get a C++ error and it crashes IE

But someone put up my favorite name anyway -- you know I prefer Neptunes Mermaid

Fayte ~

I don't have a hard-copy dictionary right now either -- like AG I use an online one..... would you be willing to pull a word for me??

Thanks 1,000,000!!

aawww, it’s alright…maybe it’s a lesson for patience. As I didn’t wait till I was in the “mood” - I just flipped the dictionary and picked a page I shall wait till I’m in a better mood.

I liked NM too, but it’s single # was 8 - 7 would have been more fitting. I’m more number conscious now..

Ha ha! I got "idle" - 1. Not engaged in work 2. Not being used, not operating. 3. Unwilling to work, lazy. 4. Spent in inactivity, reserved for leisure. 5. Having no basis or effectiveness :idle threats. idled, idling - To be engaged in trivial activities, to loaf.

That's funny because I'm doing this while at work. tee hee - ok ok, I'll get back to work now

Lion..perhaps idle has a different meaning than not working, perhaps it means you feel progress is stifled in a certain area of your life?

Lia you are definitely unadulterated, thats what I love about you. Drum is interesting, to me a drum is a driving beat that encourages motion, and you are a driving force the encourages evolution in yourself and others.

The word that I got today was grebe- n.-any family of lobe-toed diving birds related to the loons.

Hopefully grebe means something good in animal totem.

Couldn't find grebe in animal totem but since it is related to the loon will go with loon. Although I might be in trouble here since I hardly ever remember my dreams. This might signify that is about to change though.

LOON

Hopes, Dreams, Wishes

The haunting call of the Loon
tells you that the hopes, dreams and wishes
that you have tucked away
will come to the surface.

When a Loon shows up as a totem
it is calling you to pay attention to your dreams.
They will be of greater importance.

For those with a Loon totem,
imagination and dreaming abilities are powerful.
Images and visions will be very lifelike
and you must separate the real from the unreal.
Loon will help you seeing the truth.

The Loon awakens the imagination
and reminds us that all hopes, dreams and wishes
can become realities.

This is freaky... I got "bear up" which means to endure cheerfully, to withstand stress, difficulty, or attrition. It was among the many definitions for "bear", but my finger rested on this particular phrase. Given the situation I'm in right now, it just fits perfectly. But I don't know... sometimes it hurts to stay strong

Thank you for the loon, Zala.

I love the sound that loons make. We have a lot of them here in Michigan as I am sure that you do too.

Maybe you are going to be making a move in the near future, DD. Or maybe it refers to where you are at this point in your life and calling attention to that??? Just a guess.

These are all so neat!

------------------
Nothing in the world is as soft and yielding as water.
Yet for dissolving the hard and inflexible,
nothing can surpass it.
The soft overcomes the hard;
the gentle overcomes the rigid.
Everyone knows this is true,
but few can put it into practice.

I really tried hard meditating on my power word today - harder than ever and I still picked a bird!

Today it was pullet,n: a young hen esp. of the the domestic chicken when less than a year old.

What's with all these birds? Truthfully I am no big fan of birds. I have a phobia about birds. I hate chicken. Never touch the stuff. Don't like anything that chicken is in. Don't eat turkey either. My motto is if it's fowl it's foul.

Would never harm a bird though. I like their singing.

Birds soar in flight. So maybe that is my message with the birds two days in a row?????? I picture soaring to the heights.
