In the old days people would mutilate their In-N-Out Burger bumperstickers to read:In-N-Out Urge Personally, I live in California, and In & Out doesn't do anything for me, though they are good for the money. I think I'd trade In-N-Out for a local Ruby Tuesday. IP: Logged |

AG: I love Ruby Tuesdays we don't have one here in Chicago, but when I was living in Atlanta I lived across the street from one and I loved that place and they do have great burgers.. IP: Logged |

I'll probably be eating at a Cracker Barrel this Christmas when I go to Tennessee. When I lived in Tennessee I worked at Ruby Tuesday. That place is great. That's where I found out that I liked Blackened meats. IP: Logged |

In N OUT.. that's what a hamburger's all about.AG, were you a burger flipper? I've never tried Ruby Tuesdays..but no burger can compare to a burger ya make at home. ok say burger quickly 5 times.. burger burger burger burger burger! It doesn't sound like a word, it sounds like a chicken. I read that In N Out managers make an average of 125k ayear~ IP: Logged |

I'm not crazy about In and Out Burger's fries. My nephew in law works as a manager at one located in Pleasanton and yes, he makes about that much a year.I went to a Ruby Tuesdays in Nashville a few years back and loved it. Two places I've always wondered about are Bob Evans and Cracker Barrel. IP: Logged |

No, I wasn't a burger flipper, and Ruby Tuesday probably isn't known for its burgers. It's just a restaurant that's not geographically here, so I'd trade In-N-Out for it.Wow, BlueTopaz, that's where I live. I work about a mile from that In-N-Out. IP: Logged |

I live in Cali too and In-n-out doesn't do anything for me either... If i'm going to have an occasional burger, I'll go to burger king. Too bad we don't have ruby tuesdays...or whatever you call that place...I always see it in commercials though; it's never around where I live though. :]IP: Logged |

I was a busboy. I ended up quitting due to their scheduling me to close Friday nights, open Saturday mornings, close Saturday nights, and open Sunday morning. They did train me a little for serving, but I never really got going in that as they were obviously short on busboys.IP: Logged |

'Nother Ca'er here. McDonald's french fries are the best hands down! In-N-Out's french fries are too...real tasting?! Their grease just isn't tasty. Blech!! Totally not what i'm looking for in a fry. Plus the Mc D's Fry Guy's amuse me P.S. WTF was Grimace? Always thought he was a glob of grease growing up...still not sure... ------------------ `Who are you?' said the Caterpillar. This was not an encouraging opening for a conversation. Alice replied, rather shyly, `I--I hardly know, sir, just at present-- at least I know who I WAS when I got up this morning, but I think I must have been changed several times since then.' ~Lewis Carroll IP: Logged |

I'm not so big on In and Out, but I do think they have the best plain cheeseburgers over any other burger joint. I started getting them with nothing on them cause they couldn't manage to make me one w/out their sauce on it, and other than home made or a proper restaurant, to me they have the most natural burger flavor.I do agree about California being blessed food-wise . My fav food is Vietnamese and I've never been anywhere (in the US) with as many Vietnamese restaurants as the West Coast has. IP: Logged |

Thorshammer: I live in Hyde Park southside of Chicago I never knew that there was a Ruby Tuesdays close. Neither one of those are close to me. Now if I am out and about like at Ikea or something then yeah I would swing by one. I am not that crazy about Craker Barrel or Bob Evans they have them both here.. IP: Logged |

Anyone ever try Mr. Chau's chicken salad? They're in the Bay Area. Yum. Just their chicken salad. I'm not into fast food - it's been so long since I ate any.Ah, okay. Someone I worked with who is from the Midwest always talked about Bob Evans and Cracker Barrel. Are they any good? I miss a lot of the food in the Bay Area - especially good Chinese. IP: Logged |
