Daytime is the right time. I'm a student so my schedule varies wildly (as I like it).Things are good, the leaves have mostly fallen off the trees in New England, and winters bite is soon to follow, bringing in the coats and earmuffs, the snow, the cold crisp days. With pluto beginning to transit my sun I'm learning lessons of power. (something you scorps probably know intuitively) Where to apply power, where to not, when to realize you are powerless, and when to apply yourself fully. Working with mentally ill adolescents I find the greatest power of all is sublimation, to give in completely to the moment and ride the currents of reality, always projecting out the greatest peace from your soul, and turning away fear and anger with compassion. In my job I am exposed to an incredible amount of fear, anger, violence, and I find that it all stems from confusion, from looking for security outside of the self rather than from within. It seems sometimes that life is a big joke, a cherade, but then at other times it's so real that time just freezes and the moment lives forever. And although we are always the same person we really aren't, every situation finds us playing a different part, a different role, for me often a student or counselor, but not always. For you perhaps a nurturer, a soothsayer, a priestess even. But always I believe by channeling our souls essence through these roles we are truly doing justice to our lives, by being CONSCIOUS in ever moment and acting from the best part of ourselves. Thanks for the message you posted on my myspace. It's nice to feel appreciated, also I found it interesting that you said "if only it were so easy to follow your advice." I sometimes forget that people may carry much heavier karmic burdens than I. As a sagittarius I have the ability to detach from reality as I like, and other people simply aren't able to do this. I see how scorpios, capricorns, pisceans suffer, and I empathize, but I dont' think I'll ever be able to grasp what that karmic weight, that heaviness of soul must feel like. How is your little pisces bun in the oven doing? Does he kick or is he already gentle? IP: Logged |

Not gentle. Not at all! He's a kicker, but he does swish and swim around still... he's only about a pound yet, but he's strong!!!!(and I love it!)I loved your words. I'm having a hard time shutting off tonight and letting myself want to sleep..... so your last post sort of cascaded all around me and left me bouyant. My mask from here doesn't fit me as well as it did before.. I'm finding new uses for it. Is it as valid, now that it's more layered? Sleep well. IP: Logged |

Is this a figurative mask or is it an avocado facial? I think the best mask is no mask, but I suppose this isn't always possible. Can you peel off layers and put layers back on? Can you put the mask on the nightstand once in a while? Sweet dreams. IP: Logged |

For me it’s lunch hours. Or being asked to run morning errands to Government buildings/other businesses. Which sometimes causes me to have to wait until around 9:00 – 9:30 to be able to speak directly with the specific individual that I’m needing. Or trying to use up my 66 hours of remaining vacation time before the year ends by leaving a little early one day or coming in a little later…. I’ll still never use it all… I’m always losing about 15 hours a year by not taking the time off. Not much goofing around going on really… even though it may appear that way. _________________________________________ Scorpio sun, venus, mars, mercury, and uranus Libra moon, pluto, and asc. Well, I 'll be the one to admit honestly that most of my socialising here is done on company time. I consider it one the perks of my job... When everything works the way it's suppose to and everyone does what they suppose to do - I have a luxury of some free time with no one looking over my shoulder. But then, there are days when at 5 p.m. I remember that I haven't eaten lunch yet and about 10 p.m. I remember that it's time to go home...lol. So, I guess, it's all evens out. IP: Logged |

Yeah, I'm definitely weekday between 8-5p. I'm at work but I'm pretty much left to my own vices. I do non brainer stuff for money. But as I'm doing my brainer work. Writing outlines, synopses and scripts, I usually take a mind wondering break in order to regroup and get back to it. So, that's why I'm here now! I'm in ACT III of my TV Pilot.

I dont trust anyone that's not a little mentally ill...if they're not they've got to be hiding something.

I agree. As a 12 year old I worked in a private facility my BFF's mom owned & operated. It was not a mental institution by any means and they were, absolutely some of the most memorable folks. It was a very goofy, enlightening experience. The only sad part was most folks in there didn't have many family visitors. That was a painful reality check. BUT.. you could comfort yourself in knowing that most clients knew no different. BR, do you enjoy what you do> IP: Logged |

That's sad they had few visitors. But they were probably still happy most of the time anyway.I enjoy what I do when I'm not dealing with physical violence. IP: Logged |
