Why is it that some people think that they are better than others and live the "proper" life? And just because another person lives differently from another I really don't think it give a person any rights to be abusive to the other.This has come up or been triggered by this course that I'm taking this weekend. It's the Introduction to Spiritualism. They discussed the Witchcraft Act that gave the government/church officals the right to convinct and then persecute those who were into divination, spirit communication, sorcery, astrology and the like. I think it was put into place in the 1600s and then repealed in the 1800s. After doing a search, I'm suprised that the act still exists in some parts of the world.
It saddens me to see there is no toleration of anothers beliefs and some people treat others because of the differences.
