2. Does Santa wrap presents or just sit them under the tree?

Santa wraps them AND sets up toys under the tree for Christmas morning

3. Colored lights on tree/house or white?

we have a smorgasborg of lights this year. kids will do that to ya. so we have a lighted snow man, a fake white tree, candycanes * little christmas scenes in our front yard... lighting up the neighborhood!

4. Do you hang mistletoe?
if we are having a party.

5. When do you put your decorations up?

Dec 2nd this year (usually not so early but we are leaving 12/15 for a week-long trip so wanted to enjoy the tree

6. What is your favorite holiday dish?
standing dry-aged rib roast

7. Favorite Holiday memory as a child?
christmas dinner with all my aunts, uncles & cousins (watching the adults get drunk & loud adn having our way with them)

8. When and how did you learn the truth about Santa?

I was 6. I learned because santa and grandma seemed to use the same wrapping paper and had verrrry similar handwritting. i still remember the paper so vividly in my mind. grandma gave me "yes..virginia, there is a santa clause" book and scratched out the name and wrote mine in. wow, i wish i still had it!!

9. Do you open a gift on Christmas Eve?

yes..

10. How do you decorate your Christmas?

we have bulbs from years past and add a few every year. this year i found an icecream cone ornament and presented it to my 5 year old as well as a 5-pack of fruit ornaments.

love the snow.

12. Can you ice skate?
yes

13. Do you remember your favorite gift?

roller skates & special satin roller skating outfit at 5/6. it was 1979/1980!!!

14. What's the most important thing about the Holidays for you?

family

15. What is your favorite Holiday Dessert?

sugar cookies with real butter frosting. they are almost like little cakes but crispy on the outside.

16. What is your favorite Holiday tradition?

drinking special apple cider, listening to christmas music and decorating the tree.

17. What tops your tree?

A Star..sometimes an angel. One year we had a gold bird with real feathers.

18. Which do you prefer, giving or receiving?

Giving. I hate receiving.

19.What is your favorite Christmas song?

Little drummer boy (the Bing Crosby David Bowie version)

sometimes giftwrapped.....usually they're laid out for discovery on christmas morning.

3. Colored lights on tree/house or white?
For several years, I have used white only but now I am starting to be bored with it. I always thought it looked "classier" than the colored lights my Mom used/uses but now I'm feeling nostalgic and want colored lights.

4. Do you hang mistletoe?
No, I have animals....afraid my kitties would get ahold of it.

5. When do you put your decorations up?
First week of December.

6. What is your favorite holiday dish?
My Mom's Peppermint Cake.......OH YEAH!
I make some mean Rum Balls, too!

7. Favorite Holiday memory as a child?
My youngest brothers first Christmas (there is a decade between us).

WAY before my parents wanted me to. I had to pretend to believe for a couple of years just not to hurt my parents feelings! They enjoyed the fantasy too much.......lol

9. Do you open a gift on Christmas Eve?
My best friends and I exchange gifts on Christmas Eve. Growing up, we were always allowed to open one present.

All the way! LoL, I even have a collection of ornaments, I make myself - that are very tedious but beautiful.

As long as it doesn't stick around too long.

Nope, I was a roller skating girl. We did not have an ice skating rink anywhere around growing up.

A bike with a basket with daisies on the front and streamers on the handlebars.
