Awwwwwww, thanks! How sweet!Considers telling y'all how much I have actually gained.... decides it's a woman's prerogative to not tell. Likes the mystery of it. Yeah, I've got 'pregnant eyes'. I don't know, something about the water content/increased blood volume, something about my face.. when I get pregnant, my eyes look funny. I also can't see as well.. my cotacts and glasses just don't work as well.. and then it gets better once I give birth. Weird, huh? I know that's not what you meant by 'pregnant face' pregnant glow type thing, but that's what I see anyway. IP: Logged |

Hmmm... She is still not convinced about her "babeilicousness" Lol!Drastic measures: There ya go girl Lol! Really, no one notices the pounds . Expecting mothers usually have an extra rush of Estrogen flowing though them, so it kinda brings out their "feminity" even more (don't know if that's even a word Lol!) IP: Logged |

I had a dream about you last night Pix, standing and smiling head and shoulders directly in front with deep red curly hair - a bit like one of your other LL photos I recall, there was a sense of 'completeness' too and that's it really - you know how dreams/images go! Oh lovely, that was such a sweet thing to say. *sniff* Sunchild.. I'm sure I was a neurotic freak my first pregnancy, but I think there is also an innocence in the unknowing. You're a freak in any pregnancy, really. And from then on out. I remember reading a quote that says something like 'having a child is like taking your heart out of your chest and letting it walk independent of you.' And it really is. Multiply that by however many you have.. it just grows. You'll be wonderful.. a healthy and nurturing mommy. It's the perfect role for you and I know you'll take it seriously and with equal parts whimsy and love. IP: Logged |

pixelpixie - congrats indeed, and lovely you are. I had to reply because of the name you chose. When I was pregnant with my son in 2000, my husband and I were without a clue as to what to name our child if he were a boy (we hadn't had an ultrasound.) About two weeks before he was born, we came up with "Gabriel John", and good thing we did. I didn't know any Gabriels at the time, but since his birth we have met five or six tykes born from 2000 on with that name. In fact, there is even another Gabriel in his first grade class. Perhaps there is an angel whispering in our ears?!IP: Logged |

urgh.Don't make me change his name!!!! You don't know how many I have been through. It's been around forever, and I love it and that's it. I really really like unusual names, but classic as well, you don't know how hard it is for me to choose one that's somewhat traditional.. it's even on the 100 most popular list!!! So hard for me, so hard for me. But I shall do it, as I don't personally know any Gabriels, and that's good enough for me.

No,no,no I didn't mean to make you want to change it!!!! It's a beautiful name, and still not too common, although it has been growing in popularity. I truly believe that names become popular in cycles for a higher reason than fashion. I wasn't kidding about the angel thing. Maybe "Gabriel" is a vibration we need. Maybe it has to do with what's going on spiritually on the planet that more of us are called to name our sons that name right now. I don't know; but it is a wonderful, auspicious name, and I really hope I didn't make you question it because I DO know how hard it is to find the right name!!! Many blessings to you and your family, especially little Gabriel Lennon.IP: Logged |

hehe.. what I should've said is; You have good taste. And left it at that. I'm super hormonal is all. ( and sick for the first time this winter, blech) Yeah, I do, I love the name and it fits so far better than anything. You don't know all the advice and crap I listen to all the time.. I have to develop spiritual ear muffs, so I just assume people mean the worst when talking about my choices. The only one who receives more unwanted advice than a pregnant woman, is a new mother. Forget that I already have two children that have made it safely and happily well into childhood. Urgh. you get it. Thanks! NIce to meet you! IP: Logged |

When I think of Gabriel I cannot forget the song from "Lamb". also on one of the compilations from years past "Cafe Del Mar"? It;s very etherial and lite and ambient...spiritual with a message. I can fly But I want his wings I can shine even in the darkness But I crave the light that he brings Revel in the songs that he sings My angel gabriel
I can love But I need his heart I am strong even on my own But from him I never want to part Hes been there since the very start My angel gabriel My angel gabriel Bless the day he came to be Angels wings carried him to me Heavenly I can fly But I want his wings I can shine even in the darkness But I crave the light that he brings Revel in the songs that he sings My angel gabriel My angel gabriel My angel gabriel
