Yesterday I was picking up some groceries and bumped into someone that I hadn't seen in years.
Caroline had been at a party, when the door she was leaning against opened suddenly and she fell to the bottom of the basement steps, stiking her head and neck on the wall and floor at the bottom.
In trying to grab her ( I missed ) I saw her hit the bottom.
I suggested to call the ambulance as the first thing I noticed was she had a neck injury.
I stayed with her so no one would move her, her hubby was not getting the situation, and said, "ah leave her shell be alright".
When the ambulance finally got there, the mood changed quickly, Caroline had a dislocated vertabre in her neck.
I found this out later, am I ever glad I didnt let anyone move her.
She was told that if I hadn't stopped people from moving her she would have been paralyzed from the neck down, if not dead.
That was 20 yrs ago
Caroline says hi every time she sees me, and I her.
the awsome feeling of gratitude and elation I get from her is amazing, we just bumped into one another the other day.

Doing for others is what it is all about.
How a life can be changed with a small act of selflessness and caring in someones time of need.

Welcome Ghammer, you're a hero!

I like the moral to your story. Her husband must have felt ashamed, but then again, spouses at times (particularly husbands) do not realize how vulnerable thier mates are. It's a sort of a denial that nothing bad will ever happen to thier mate.

for your quick response to the situation.

Just curious, what are your astro details?
