Oooh cake and ice cream....can I come pleeeeeeze?

Games...hmmm.....

Musical statues

Charades

Pass the Parcel

Musical Bumps

Guess who (write something on the forehead of the child and the other kids give clues)

Musical chairs

What is it? (fill a bowl with objects and blindfold the child...they then feel what the object is)

Hope these help?

Have FUN!!

we always did Pin the Tail on something (not granny!)
The Bozo Game-line up 4-5 wastebaskets or round ice cream containers
in a line about a foot apart. Kids stand behind a line and toss into bucket #1, then bucket #2- the last bucket has the best prize because a kid would have had to make all five.

There's one where kids sit in a circle and throw a dice and the first one to get a six dresses up in hat, coat and mittens and has to eat as much of a bar of chocolate WITH A KNIFE AND FORK as they can until the next dice is thrown.

If you have a garden - throw them out and have them play hide-and-seek.

What about a treasure hunt?

General knowledge quiz?

Best dancer/impersonator/costume (if fancy dress)?

Thanks, lala and Xena. It is to cold here for water balloons or the garden. it is also going to rain.

I like the cholate bar with a knife a fork think. Sounds fun.

I always enjoyed the word games - like "pass a secret", which starts with a sentance on one end, is whispered from one kid to the next, then at the end, is usually an entirely different sentance. Only works with alot of kids, like 10 or more.

Then there's the question game. You have to speak in questions only. this one is fun for adults too. Might even be fun here.

Hmmm. Maybe I'll start a thread.
