I received this letter from Ginny's son Tommy today  Hi ,
I hate to drop this bomb to you all,
Steve,Susan and I had a visit with the hospise nurse and her body is shutting down now. Steve Susan and I will be here 24-7 for the duration to the end. Her meds are now the anti swelling, morphine, and ativan. That will make her pretty comfy for awhile.
She does not know that her live was that much shorter and am not going to tell her any differnt.
At least she is home and comfy. Thanks for all you love caring and warmth.

I slipped into a period of escapism/avoidance for a bit tonight I think.
but I wanted to let you all know. The tributes to Ginny in the "Letter to Rainbow" thread have been so heart-touching and beautiful. Probably like so many of you, reading through it welled up tears in my eyes each and every time.
Anyone who would like to leave Ginny a message, please continue doing so. I'm not sure if we'll have time to print it out to send her, but perhaps she could have it read to her. Her family will probably be amazed to learn just how many people all throughout the world whose Ginny's Love has touched in her time here. Thank you for all your caring and continued prayers.
