So what new things are brewing under the sun and moon?

Random flashes of insight?

Do you have anything of value to share?

I thought perhaps we could use a lighter thread for sillies and such.
I could be wrong.. we'll see if this takes off.

I'd love to see if this goes somewhere, but I need to rest up.
Maybe I'll have a busy day tomorrow! I can always hope.

Looks like an ad site. Is that what it's supposed to look like?

Oh sorry. The addy is:
http://librivox.org/

It's a place to get free audio books for download, as long as the book is in the public domain.

What's new?

860AM
I just found it. It plays recordings of old radio from the 60's and so forth. For now the novelty is nice.

I've found some wonderful children's lit, I've downloaded and then burned onto CD. Wizard of Oz, Anne of Green Gables, Just so stories, THe secret garden, Wind in the WIllows. Stuff I've never heard of too, but looks great.

The chicks are peeping, the leeks are leeking, the brassicas have put on their first true leaves, and the peas are just beginning to uncurl their crunched up leaves.

Today I saw a squirrel, a really FAT one I might add, hang from my suet feeder and help itself to a snack. LOL

It's going to be Spring again soon. I am looking forward to enjoying the grape hyacinths, and daffodils, and crocus coming up.

Hey Pix, everyone.. I found http://www.damninteresting.com/ today, or it found me! It's mildly entertaining for a few seconds

Also I found a maggot in my apple today. I wasn't impressed. The weird thing was, before looking down at the apple I thought "what if a maggot was...?" and there it was, bold as brass, but browner.

*sigh* these mini precognitive situations happen alot.

Also, anyone seen proxieme lately? Not heard from her in aaaages
