Hi Silverstone, I'm back.

I still have the same questions in mind- for the past couple of months I didn't spend extra time to figure out how to use Photobucket.com myself. I still don't know how to post a chart at LL. If I would eventually learn how to do that, it would be great.

Also, I don't know how to type in italics, bold, bold italics, or use the format of "quote" as smaller, different form of characters with separating lines for the quotes. I would like to know where people copy some really magnificent images from the Internet, too.

I'd appreciate your help.
D

I don't use Photobucket since I have my own website, but Moon666Child has put up directions for Photobucket several times here in FFA. Explicit pictorial directions on bold, quotes, etc is here in the LL FAQ, which is at the top of the topics page under New Topic and at the top of every thread page in the same place: http://www.linda-goodman.com/ubb/ubbcode.html
I believe we've also noted several times that you can see how someone has done a text enhancement/modification by clicking on "Edit" in their post. You can't edit someone else's post but you can look at it.....

For instance, if you click on "Edit" in this post, you can see how I went to google and chose the search string "daffodil images" and picked the first image that came up:

You can also use several UBB codes on the same target for emphasis, LIKE THIS

I'll try to help you D

for italics you put an i in [ ] and end with [/i]

for bold lettering put a b in [ ]
and end with [/b]

for quote put the word quote in [ ] and end with
[/quote]

it is important to remember the /

This should work now
Hope I explained that correctly

Thanks, fellow knowflakes.

Likethis?

I hope this worked.

I'll be thrilled when I've finally learned posting charts

Thanks Zala, it did work. If only I had paid more attention to the FAQ section earlier.

But still, I don't know how to post a chart.
