He has sporadic access to the Internet and he loves this site.. so I will be posting periodically, shouting out to him and his platoon until he comes home.

Please feel free to wish him well or post your support. I know he'd love it.

**** I would like to request that people PLEASE refrain from posting derogatory statements about this war. This thread is about a person, a Soldier, someone I dearly love and I am proud of. He is somebody's son, father, brother and husband. Whatever our personal beliefs concerning the war or war in itself, this thread is dedicated to a person, not an idealogy.

What a WONDERFUL idea!!! I can give you my address at my moms and I will include everything that is received in the weekly boxes that I sent to Bear. If you want to send something to his troops, just write "to the troops of Bear's platoon" and he can distribute them. WOW.. that will really bring up the morale of the joes.

If anyone feels weird about including their return address to me you can always just put it in the letter to the troops and I won't open it. He has a GREAT bunch of guys, young and in need of hearing from everyone out here. Bear and I took them under out wings when they were out for training last year and really, they are such a great group of young men and women.

If anyone would like to send something directly to the troops, please e-mail me and I will give you the address. We can't send anything along the lines of pork, aersol cans or prohibited items such as lighter fluid, alcohol or lighters.

They love lotion, incense (especially Dragon's Blood), shampoo, body wash and baby wipes. I sent a huge box for Bear and his guys yesterday.

Love to you all... the posts are just beautiful. I told Bear about the thread and he will try to check it within the next few days and send a message to everyone.

Thank you for setting up this thread for me it is nice to see all the support that is coming from everyone here on Lindaland. My joes and I really appreciate it. I will get on here when I can. Thank you all.

My love, Its starting to warm up here but is still cold at nights. We are in a good location and safe. I miss you alot. I cant wait to be in your arms again.

Mr. Alabama, Wormie, Powder, Sloth, and the rest of the Joes say hi and thank you. Morale is good.

It is still cold as heck here in potato land. We had a major storm come through and dump even more rain LOL.... looks like I will have to wait until June for warm weather - too bad I am not with you to keep you warm at night.
