Who has a favorite post, thread, pic, epic battle, etc.?Something you recall in your time away from the computer, even away from your whole house. For me, although it's a tough decision, the award goes to: Acoustic God for the Cuddle Party thread. The conversation was hilarious, but for me, the most touching part of all was his honest effort to check it out. You know we all wanted to know! His sincerity, even in the midst of all the WTF??!!! gets to me in a way that words can't describe. I just love it to pieces! Hilarious. You win! IP: Logged |

The whole KS thing was pretty dramatic. Definitely was up there on the epic scale.Atlantic Myst and her 85 aliases is always rather amusing to me. As well as her one line posts of "F83ck You you Mother F*Ck." I'm like, yaaa, thats a new yorker LOL. IP: Logged |

OMG.. yes, the many names of Tranquil post, atlantic myst etc... I think the name Desert Troll for me was pretty damn funny. I wonder if now I should be called the Mountain troll since I am one of the most Northern parts of the Potato state? LMAO...I also have to say I adore how we can be at odds yet come together in need. Regardless of our battles, something always brings us together. My heart is still sad over the loss of Rainbow. Death has always been something that is hard for me, the finality of it all never has made sense to me. To this day I still find myself trying to reach out to my grandmother by phone, yet she passed away from a lung tumor / cancer almost 6 years ago. Our site has dealt with so many issues yet we are still strong.. that is my most favorite moment- but it is one that continues on and on- so maybe it really isn't a moment?

Oh and not to mention..... i am more educated to a lot of things now since linda land. I too am amazed at how the problems flare up and then everybody comes back together. That is very cool.

I feel the same about Rainbow's death, Pid. It all just happened so suddenly from the onset with her diagnosis to her departure. No time really for her or any of us who loved her to adjust. It just all seemed so unreal and still does to a large degree. My epic moment at LL? Well, you haven't lived until you have had your character smeared all over the boards of LL as happened to me and my daughter just before Christmas. Even on the Teen board!!!! LOL It's in the past and I don't wish to bring it up again but well, you asked and that definitely was an epic event for both myself and my daughter. IP: Logged |
