Listens To Trees,Thank you for responding, and sharing your path with me.
I feel such good things when I read your words.
I have infinite faith in you, but I don't know why.
Here is a flower for you: http://www.questhaven.org/retreat_fan.htm
Just last night, I was reading about the spiritual life, and about integrity, and about the things you speak of in your latest response. It is something all true seekers must confront. The intuitive perceptions develop all by themselves, but there comes a point when we must make that effort to live according to our highest perceptions. Neglecting this, brings complications in our spiritual health. As Christ has said, "Before I spoke to you, you were innocent,". With great power to hear the voice, comes great responsibility to follow the example.
And when we have the courage to follow, suddenly, new worlds open up. I was given the vision once of a duckling on a pond... The pond is VAST, but he swims in small circles, in one small corner of the pond, and, under the surface, he kicks wildly with just one leg (the left one, signifying the unconscious will); the other is motionless. He is exhausted, lol. I think it is time we began to kick with that other leg.
Self-respect, self-confidence, and the direct experience of the truth of the LIVING Christ. These are just a few of our rewards!
I wrote this poem some years ago.
I now think it was written for you -
for both of us, in this moment:
Pen and Sword
Ripened thoughts to actions tend,
As fruit falls from the vine.
But thoughts too long ensconced ferment
and are overfed,
like rotten fruit that, greedy,
clings to parch'd stem.
The pen insights a million swords - tis true,
and nations, to a noble thought their births belong -
But words do not a sword uphold,
Nor slackened arms contend;
Sharp wills must hearken and be bold
For tragedies to mend,
And all the world's unblighted hope
is nothing without them.
Love to You,
You are so close!!!!!
