Thankyou, HSC

I have been thinking about the words to the song you mentioned again this morning, and feel that now I know what they mean. If wishes were reasons then trees would be falling- we need to put our feet firmly on the ground first- once we have done this, we need to MAKE it happen (I think Sigourney Weaver said it in a film, was it Working Woman? "if you want something to happen, then you MAKE it happen"). Image is no good without Ordain.

Perhaps then, I need to be more active in my search for truth.....yoga, meditation.

The more I think, intellectualize and philosophize- the more entangled I feel I become. I am very interested-perhaps OBSESSED in the Virgo-Pisces relation between reality and fantasy. I'm frightened of infatuation and disillusionment because of experiences.....where, oh where is the balance? The key?

U.G.....looked him up on Amazon- he has books with titles such as 'Mind is a Myth' and 'Thought Is Your Enemy'.

Thankyou for appreciating the Willy Wonka song and really listening to what I was saying. Most people would think that I ramble. But sometimes I don't say what my mind simply tells me I should- I say what my heart is telling me.

I wanted to lighten the mood. When this world around us seems so harsh, imagination is a good place to escape to- some would say that the soul goes to these dream realms when it passes on- the place where it can rest/ recharge before continuing its evolution.

Evolution?

Then I got back onto this other thing, after I had thought of that- the light I remembered as a child that I was referring to.....

Hmmmm

Listens To Trees,

Thank you for responding, and sharing your path with me.

I feel such good things when I read your words.
I have infinite faith in you, but I don't know why.

Here is a flower for you: http://www.questhaven.org/retreat_fan.htm

Just last night, I was reading about the spiritual life, and about integrity, and about the things you speak of in your latest response. It is something all true seekers must confront. The intuitive perceptions develop all by themselves, but there comes a point when we must make that effort to live according to our highest perceptions. Neglecting this, brings complications in our spiritual health. As Christ has said, "Before I spoke to you, you were innocent,". With great power to hear the voice, comes great responsibility to follow the example.

And when we have the courage to follow, suddenly, new worlds open up. I was given the vision once of a duckling on a pond... The pond is VAST, but he swims in small circles, in one small corner of the pond, and, under the surface, he kicks wildly with just one leg (the left one, signifying the unconscious will); the other is motionless. He is exhausted, lol. I think it is time we began to kick with that other leg.

Self-respect, self-confidence, and the direct experience of the truth of the LIVING Christ. These are just a few of our rewards!

I wrote this poem some years ago.
I now think it was written for you -
for both of us, in this moment:

Pen and Sword

Ripened thoughts to actions tend,
As fruit falls from the vine.

But thoughts too long ensconced ferment
and are overfed,

like rotten fruit that, greedy,
clings to parch'd stem.

The pen insights a million swords - tis true,
and nations, to a noble thought their births belong -

But words do not a sword uphold,
Nor slackened arms contend;

Sharp wills must hearken and be bold
For tragedies to mend,

And all the world's unblighted hope
is nothing without them.

Love to You,
You are so close!!!!!

Stephen

Thought needs FORM before it can create. We must be clear of our own vision, before we can ORDAIN. Live rhymes with GIVE.

"We are the dream- makers, and we are the dreamer of dreams".

As we think, so we are.

We can be anything we want to be.....because "I'm a million different people from one day to the next, I can change, I can change"... (The Verve)

Why should we try and outshine one another? If we are all special, and unique- in our own way? We all have our own light to shine- putting it all together...forms a miracle;
a
of true beauty

"I'm not aware of too many things.
I know what I know, if you know what I mean."
- Edie Brickell

"If nothing changes, nothing changes."
- Alcoholics Anonymous

"Nothing changes until you start making decisions."
- Unknown

quote:
Why should we try and outshine one another?

There is no "one another",
there is only you, and your projections.

Ultimately,
you compete only with yourself.
And this competition is healthy.

Let your light shine as brightly as you can.
Show the world it is okay to shine!
Show yourself it is okay to shine!

Challenge others to shine just as brightly,
in their own ways.
Challenge yourself to shine just as brightly,
in all ways.

You are a million different people from one day to the next.
Shine brilliantly in a million different ways.
