I've been surrounded by people all weekend without any alone time at all. I'm a Virgo, so that's a no-no for me. Plus I'm so sick of people who think that they have everything figured out. They are so ignorant. *sigh* I think I just need to go crawl in the bed for a day or two until I'm back to normal. lol

What do you guys do when you feel like this to help yourselves get over it?

Hi BoE ~

First: obtain that alone-space/alone-time
Read things *totally* not-of-this-present-day-world, like The Dragonriders of Pern, or Clan of the Cave Bear.
Listen to music that has happy memories.
Take a drive and rock out on the way to Guitar Center to windowshop

Those “ignorant people who think they have everything figured out” – don’t. And you know it. They’re on their own path and may be doing exactly what is right for them to learn what they need to learn this time around.
On the other hand, they may just be here solely as an irritant for you

Hang in there, you’ll be back to “normal” (whatever that is ) in no time…..

Zala

Heck yes, you know I've already broken out the chocolate too. I'm up way past my bedtime surfing the net. Oh well it's spring break! I'm lucky that I haven't been to a keg party & flashed some people yet. Hmmm... looks like a good book though. Is it fantasy?

Wazzup Fayte!

I guess you could call "Earth's Children" fantasy.....
The setting is approx 25,000 years ago when there were still mammoths and saber-tooth tigers. It's about a Cro-Magnon girl named Ayla who is orphaned and grows up with a clan of Neanderthals. Eventually she leaves the clan, adopts and "tames" a horse and a lion, and finally finds "her own kind."
I credit these books with the beginnings of my increased interest in herbs and healing.....
I would definitely read them in order -- they are:
Clan of the Cave Bear
The Valley of Horses
The Mammoth Hunters
The Plains of Passage
The Shelters of Stone

And you're funny too! Thanks so much, that was great. A bag over the head might not be such a horrible idea for my next bad hair day though.
