Hi Blue, I spoke with Bear last night and I wanted to thank you and your family for sending the great package to his platoon. I don't want to steal his thunder because (he is a Leo - LOL) I know he wants to respond to you. The joes (and Bear) loved the contents and he said the balloons really made their day. Thank you again, he was really touched by your gesture. You are truly wonderful and I thank you as well from the bottom of my heart for caring so much!! Lots of love, pidaua ------------------ Waiting for my Soldier Bear to come home from Iraq... I love you Bear...Forever and a Day.... IP: Logged |

Hello Bluemoon,Thank you for the package. The Troops really enjoyed the contents especially the little balloons with the smiley faces on them. I was told today that I need to keep a stock of them on hand as they are a big moral boost. LOL. All of the gummie packs are all gone already. I put the picture of the little kid wearing a helmet on our door. I think it fits and the Joes really seem to like it. Thank you again. It was very nice of you. Pidaua, No worries my love. You told me you would probably get on line and post before I did. I love you baby. I miss you and cant wait to come home. Bear IP: Logged |

Aww shucks!! It really makes me feel good to be able to send my little package to the guys. I try to send something to the Joes a couple of times a year, for me. I am an army brat and my father and brother were in the army. I remember sending them packages. So thanks you guys, but I really do this for myself.OXOXOXOXOXO IP: Logged |

Hi Pid I never had a fibroid. I think you are thinking of Fayte who said she had one removed. I had a partial hysterectomy in my early 40's due to hemorraging. My womb was removed at that time but my ovaries were okay so I didn't need hormone treatment. Later though I had to have laser surgery to free up a bowel that was blocked due to scar tissue from the hysterectomy. At that time the doctor also removed my ovaries because they also were immeshed in scar tissue. Now all I have left is the box it came in. At that time I was put on hormone replacement therapy. Later taken off it because I smoke. I think they normally use HRT before any surgery that deals with the ovaries because it can throw your hormone balance out of whack. But I am no expert by any means on medical matters. Still keeping you in my thoughts and prayers. I'm sure everything will turn out okay for you and Bear. IP: Logged |
