Remember...

"Never forget what you need to remember."

-- Garrett Bartley

What do you want to remember from this past week?

Reflect on your experience over the last 7 days. What was memorable about it? Write a short summary.

If you are not learning and moving forward, you are unconsciously entrenching older patterns more deeply. You are actually going backwards. So take a few minutes each week to reflect on what matters most in your life.

"Memory is the cabinet of the imagination, the treasury of reason, the registry of conscience, and the council chamber of thought."

-- Basile

Remembering.
Hhhmmmm.
After another stroke I am having trouble with short term memory.
But it is returning finally.
As some of you have read, the last 3 weeks have been chaotic in my offline life.
Still without all the water, but finally have
shower, toilet and clothes washer up and working!
No sinks yet.
And my MIL is doing better after her heart surgeries and is home again just in time for Mother's Day.
Out getting hardware and plumbing stuff and groceries, gave and received alot of smiles and even had spontaneous nice conversations with strangers.
A real Bluebird showed up in my yard yesterday! Not a BlueJay, but a real Bluebird!

Memory is a problem with me these days too, Fayte. In fact, I am starting to worry about it. My mom suffered with altzheimers (sp.?) before she died so any memory problem sort of frightens me.

Happy that things are starting to look up for you and improve, Fayte. You really got slammed there by life!!!

Nice message here, Star and a very good point that you made Moonchild. No sense in clogging up our minds with the useless.

I Still Remember by Bloc Party

I, I still remember
how you looked that afternoon.
There was only you.

You said "it's just like a full moon".
Blood beats faster in our veins
We left our trousers by the canal
And our fingers, they almost touched

You should have asked me for it
I would have been brave
You should have asked me for it
How could I say no?

And our love could have soared
Over playgrounds and rooftops
Every park bench screams your name
I kept your tie

I've gone wherever you wanted

(I still remember)

And on that teachers' training day
We wrote our names on every train
Laughed at the people off to work
So monochrome and so lukewarm

And I can see our days are becoming nights.
I could feel your heartbeat across the grass.
We should have run.
I would go with you anywhere.
I should have kissed you by the water

You should have asked me for it
I would have been brave
You should have asked me for it
How could I say no?

And our love could have soared
Over playgrounds and rooftops
Every park bench screams your name
I kept your tie

I would let you if you asked me

I still remember
