I was adopted in CT and was wondering, what resources are at my finger tips in regards to tracking down birth parents?

What has worked for others, in other words?

I am just asking for advice and tips.

I'd be interested in any information on that subject as well. I haven't seen or heard from my biological father in eight years. I know his name, I know he lives in Spain, but that's about it.

you could try net detective, I was trying to download that program but it didn't work for me.

There also a lot of other searching software out there.

You can also try Intelius, it does a background check for listed and unlisted numbers and finds addresses as well as past adresess for that person.

I hope you find them...

I have to thank you kind folks for the help. My interest is sparked and than wanes drastically all the time, always changing. It is odd.

Good luck to you in finding your birth parents, carlfloydfan. Also good luck to others seeking theirs.

I haven't had the experience but putting myself in the position you and others are in concerning their birth parents I know I would want to know too.
