I'm sorry to read that you've had a scary week with your mom.
I haven't publicly written about it, but a few weeks ago, my father had a heart attack.
It was the scariest thing ever, and I understand how time stops shooting by and everything becomes clear.

I'm glad to hear you both got through it.
My dad is on the mend, thankfully, as well...

Lots of love to you and your mom.

BR,

I was so sorry to read about your mom. It sounds like things are going to be alright now?

Please remember to take care of yourself. I will keep your family in my evening meditationals.

Love and Hugs,
GG

PS ~ Pix you beat me to it! I'll be thinking of your family too.

Hi Pix~

I"m sorry to hear you went through that with your dad. Is he ok now?

(PS I'm glad that you are having babies.)

Hi GG, thank you for your support! Everything is fine with her now.

These things do make you realize how precious life is. I really try to force myself to enjoy life and not be such an old grumpus half the time, but I guess that one's temprament can never really change, can it?

My mom got cirrhosis with (partial?) liver failure a few years back. She became delirious and then went into a coma. It was the darkest time of my life. After that, it was like i got a different yard stick for measuring things.

I can imagine how you must have felt BR. Glad to know everything is all right now.

Temperament can change, but it has to come from within. After all that happened, I started to change. The whole process took about 3 years, but I am a very different person now than I used to be then. May be that wasn't the real me. But then may be now what you are isn't the real you. Who knows? Just go with the flow.

Between the woods and frozen lake
The darkest evening of the year....
The only other sound's the sweep
Of easy wind and downy flake.

The woods are lovely, dark, and deep,
But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep,
And miles to go before I sleep. ~Robert Frost

Good health to all!

If you don't have your health you don't got nothing, and if you've got your health then that's a reason to be happy!

Good health but let's also enjoy a big bowl of chocolate ice cream

BR glad to hear that things turned out okay but was quite a scare for your mom and you.

It certainly does put things in their proper perspective.

Pix sorry to hear about your dad as well and glad that he is okay now.

Yes Fayte that is a good adendum, sorry if my quoting of the old adage was offensive. It is not completely true. Good health is relative, almost everyone has some health problem or another. I think what I really meant is, if you're not dying, that's a plus.

HSC I think it was you who mentioned on another thread that that female orgasm is 10x what a males is.

They say a sneeze is 1/10 as pleasurable as an orgasm. So does this mean that from a woman's perspective a man's orgasm is like a sneeze? Wow, thats gotta be some orgasm.

Also, I bet they weren't including prostate orgasms.

BlueRoamer! I was NOT offended! Just making a point! I am oddly at the happiest I have ever been to date despite my physical troubles!
Hee hee! Yeah....
