Lockport Police received a 911 call from a frantic City of Lockport mother Sunday afternoon.

The mother told Lockport Police that she left her two year old unattended for a short time and after hearing the baby scream, she ran to see what was wrong.

All family pets should be spayed or neutered.

We have vicious pit bulls, dobermans and rottweilers around here. The city said they are illegal but does not enforce it.
Stupid people with stupid dogs! Some are fixed but it makes no difference.
These stupid low life rednecks leave their children and babies with these monsters while they booze it up or drive around with their shotguns and big trucks making trouble.
I'd like to see the rednecks spayed and neutered too!
Of course these are the same jerks who put a lit roman candle in a two year old childs hands! And caught their house on fire also while playing fireworks wars shooting them across the street at each other!
Stupid people should not be permitted to breed(themselves or their damn dogs) or own equally stupid dogs.

It's normal for dogs to hump things sometimes.

The mother was an idiot for leaving the child alone.

It's not like the child was old enough to stop it.

If that's the case then I think people who have sex with animals should be put to sleep also.

I know many people who's dogs even hump their legs but they are able to stop it.

It looks like this dog had a good aim and the little boy couldn't do anything about it.

God how sad.

That is just a horrible story.

We must be careful, however, not to 'demonize' certain animals.

People should just learn to be more careful and more responsible.

I use to care for a Staffordshire Bull Terrier cross. He was the one of the most affectionate dog I have ever known. He was very gentle and I never saw him become aggressive unless attacked by another dog. He did, however have a HUGE amount of energy. He was very excitable. He had been known to occasionally take to some people more than others, becoming very 'amorous' with their leg! Dogs aren't in control of their senses in the way humans are (or some are, lol)....They don't understand why it is they react to instinct instinctively and without question.

Of course, people prefer to hate animals than to understand them, but we won't make the world a better place until we get beyond all of this.

I had an almost 200 pound 3/4 wolf and had no problems with him. Strict training and EARLY neutering was needed! Also never let free around children!
As far as leg humping dogs that is a problem which early neutering usually fixes or strict training not to act thusly. If a dog were to try that on me he'd be taking serious flying lessons with a swift kick in the excited parts! No, not enough for damage and the kick would depend on if the dog did not respond to no, and depending on if it were a big or small dog. That goes for fanny/crotch nosers too. Dobermans are very rude like that. I bet that woman's stupid dog who raped her little boy was a leg humper too and she probably thought it was just sooo cute! I have known folks like that; "oh lookie! he likes you!" Well it is not cute or the sign of a well trained dog.
Additionally some dogs are bred to be vicious. Humans should stop breeding such uncontrollable monsters.

I know someone like that, and they breed rotties, can you imagine?!?! They're encouraging these big dogs to do this
My dog was neutered and he's lovely, and would NEVER do something like this - I'd trust him 100% with a baby. It's all very disturbing.

I'm SO converting to a cat person

" .. Children are rarely injured by dogs, and these recent attacks are very, very sad events, but not a real indication that the problem is getting worse, and we shouldn't generalise. Many such incidents are down to human error and people still insist on leaving dogs unsupervised with children .. Dogs can react in odd ways to babies, not always violent. I hear that it is unwise to have a dog first, then a baby. My friend Sylvia did just that. Once the new favourite arrived, the dog stopped eating and moped. It could barely drag itself into the garden, was clearly miserable, never recovered, and died within a year. .. "
