What are your beliefs around work? Do you believe it’s necessary to work hard to earn a living? No pain, no gain? Do you believe women’s work is never done? That play is a waste of time?

While there are merits to the work ethic, over-work takes a serious toll on the quality of our lives. Our ability to contribute to life requires us to have a sense of balance, joy, playfulness, time to stop and smell the flowers.

I'm still learning.

I was trained to be this way at a very young age. I feel a sense of danger even when I just slow down a bit. Generally doing 2 or 3 jobs at once.
Shameful, I know...

The rewards seem to be High Blood Pressure,
No time for fun, and A stressed out husband.

So most recently I've placed focus on more spiritual balance to my life. Thus doing spiritually rewarding work for a living.

Blood pressure is down some, Husband has a smile, and I'm finding time I had'nt seen before
