HD! Heyyy! The amp is on the way, wheee. lol I'm excited to get it. And OMG :O Dave Gilmour is awesome. I wish I could watch them! Speaking of Pink Floyd, Roger Waters has the same birthday as I do, I think that's pretty cool.
I had the biggest crush on David Bowie when I was a kid. I just now realize how weird that was for a 12 year old girl. lol

re the tv show ..
'twaz a mixture of new and old ..
turned out that Crosby 'n Nash were on as vocalists for most of the show ..
David Bowie turned up to do one song .. one of the very early p.floyd numbers ..

their rendition of 'shine on you crazy diamond' was mega brilliant ..
gilmours' guitar intro and the vocals with crosby 'n nash made it ..
gilmours new material ? .. sort of predictable ..
the sax soloist was cool .. he needed two types of sax for one particular solo ..
he had both slung over his shoulders .. his switch mid solo was wonderous
