yourfriendinspirit Moderator Posts: 2528 From: California, USA Registered: Oct 2006	posted September 21, 2007 10:40 PM fayte.m I'm from California myself it is used widely where I live to describe "under the age of 13 years" [PG kids or children needing guidence]so I guess it would go with your 2nd definition found?: PG Parental Guidance Suggested (MPAA rating) Because as common practice you may not be allowed to enter the theater viewing of your choice without "Parental Guidance" if you are under this age. I've lived other places and also heard this phrase used: [Nevada, Oregon, and Idaho respectively] Could be, because I have alot of contacts with teenagers though? It is somewhat a slang term. However, its based as far as I can tell on the theater viewing factor. Movies are rated unfit for the General audience if they contain Swear or Cursive words as an example, also if sexual inuendo are present, also if reality type violence is expressed. Based on these factors and to what extremes they play in a movie you will see it is rated [G]General Audience (or)[PG] Parental Guidence [PG-13] under 13 Not Recommended (or) [NR-17] under 17 Not Recommended [R] Restricted & for Adults only. [X] Naughty, Naughty...heee..hee.. There's probably even more, LOL! Anyways, I forgot even what we were discussing? oh yah... Whatever- I'm not going to focus anymore attention on this matter it seems far to senseless at this point. The guy misunderstood, had his feelers hurt, reacted badly, felt remorse, apologised in a creative and discreet way.
