We must focus on positive thoughts. It is more important than ever right now. The Earth suffers from the destructive emotions we pollute the atmosphere with.

If we focus on the negativity in each other, we amplify it.

It would be nice to evolve some sort of telethapy of the heart; empathy. A feeling, knowing inside how we are all interconnected. Empathy/ love would be a a law in itself

And this book I've started reading says that the was a belief among the natives that you should focus on the positive in people so that this can become amplified and not the neg. Each day they would cleanse a room by burning cedarwood, sage or scented hay. Which is scientifically proven to remove positive ions from the air which are bad for the health, as opposed to 'negative'. After a thunderstorm, for example, the air feels so fresh and light because it has been charged with these 'negative' ions....

Oh, and I fully agree with what you said here too.

I think we do need to deal with the realities of life and work towards changing the negatives in our world but we need to do it with a positive outlook and with hope. Otherwise it drags us down and we will start to develop a negative outlook on life in general and other people.

All this searching for the 'truth' has never been easy.

When I posted this thread, I was thinking about the synchronicity of the words I'd read in the book- about the Indians who said we should focus on the positive in people- and things I had been thinking in my mind.......
It says in the book that when the white man came, they didn't say he was evil, but instead they called him the white man who seems to be evil.....hence allowing room for the possibility of change in their thoughts.

But people will interpret mere words in a million different ways.......
