Robert Heinlein wrote something like, God must have a sense of humor to put the playground between the sewers (I don't have the exact quote, but it's from Stranger in a Strange Land)IP: Logged |

Oh darn, I come up with some doozies, but I can't think of any at the moment. I always get these bizarre ideas.Ok, here's one: If we can create electricity with wind power turbines, why aren't we hooking up our power grid to the local gyms? I'm pretty sure it was after I had this idea that I saw Ed Begley Jr. ride his bike generator, which pumps electricity into a battery, which he can then use as an outlet for any electrical item. I just don't understand why we're not all hearing about this stuff yet. (Thanks to this thread [ ], I've looked up the information on it, here: http://www.livingwithed.net/energy.asp?target=33 ) Can you imagine how many more people might actually exercise if it meant that they'd save money on their electrical bill? Every house should come with a built in gym/generator to help save the homeowner money. Put a game system in there, and put the kids to work! ...We should also look into harnessing the energy from dogs.

If I stop doing everything and anything in life and I just stay still will it mean that it was my destiny to stay still? Not only that, but, would this be considered suicide? IP: Logged |
