Do we forget where today originated from???Are we so captivated in "we" that nothing else matters??? Us and Them.... I totally forgot to remind my gramps that today was Holloween and seeing that there is no Holloween where he and I come from, he was totally ignorant to the fact.....until the kids started ringing the doorbell like crazy. So for half an hour he'd been giving them apples and when I just got home with the bag of candy he was like "Why didn't you tell me? I had no idea about this, etc. etc. etc."
Sorry, I just had to share.

Well in my culture there is a very strong belief of being in touch with the dead and the supernatural regardless of religious affiliation, so there are festivals for this type of thing but not on October 31st. IP: Logged |
