What is you favorite candle brand?
I am trying to find long lasting, nicely frangranced candles that will not break the bank but will also be worth the money.
And no, I do not like Yankee Candles.
I found a company a while back called "Our own candle company" and they are pretty good but I am looking to diversify

Anyone?

Hi Yin,

A couple of years ago I got some great smelling, long lasting candles called Stonebridge Candles.

They're a little pricey but well worth it.
I think they have to be ordered.

good luck finding the right candle.

Best scented candles. Long burning. they scent up a room even without lighting them.

One of my very favorites is the Chesapeake Bay Candle Company, Sandalwood scent. I have probably 5 candles I bought a few years back and am hoarding them, because this company doesn't make them anymore (that I know of) and I love this scent in a candle.

I have found that the very best candles are often crafted locally, using local ingrediants.

My very favirot candle was made by a group of Wiccans, who had a shop in a small, witchy South Texas Hill Country village, infact the village is run by Wiccans and most of the shop keepers there are witches.

I traveled to this village last weekend mostly to stock up on some of the blessed scents only to find the shop gone....

But I persever. There is another candle maker in another hill country town not far from here, and the candles are decent, but the have become quite commercialized.

In my experience things, especially candles crafted in small amounts and with love are always the best!!!

I am apprehensive in buying locally made candles, or scented oils for that matter, preferring to brand-name ones, but I think I should change my attitude on that and just try them.

I have always been a fan of Bath & Body's Cucumber Melon candle. I love the scent. And I love how candles come in pretty jars.. such as Manuel Canovas, Redflower, and D.L & Co. Candles, however ridiculously pricey!

Crystal Journey Candles is great and you can order Soy Candles!!! I really prefer soy, because they hold the natural essence and scent much better then other candles. Also theres no black smoke while burning or left afterwards. Much nicer smelling!!!

Heres the site!!!
