Tough Love vs. Spanking

Most of America's population think it's improper to spank children,
so I have tried other methods to control my kids when they have

one of "those moments".

One that I found effective is for me to just take the child
for a car ride and talk.

They usually calm down and stop misbehaving
after our car ride together.

I've included a photo below of one of my sessions
with my son, in case you would like to use the technique.

My Dad just sent this to me in an email!!!

I was laughing so hard I nearly felll off the chair, *geesh!

The best part is that the little boy really does look quite a bit like my middle son!!!!

Well we got our ***** whipped when I was growing up and we all turned out ok..I whip ass too, but they usually get away with most stuff bc I am to tired, I just yell..LOL!!

I don't see anything wrong with spanking children. I was spanked by my mama and aunts and I don't have any hard feelings against her or them because of it. If I had children I'd probably spank them too if they didn't listen to me when I told them [not] to do something over and over again.

I don't think explaining things to children like they're adults after they didn't listen to you the first 6 times is that effective, all I have to do is look at my stepmother's children to know that.

I think kids respond to fairness. Agreed, talking to them like they are adults does NOT work. However, they should NOT be patronized either.
